Just got my PS4 at 6pm LOVE AMAZON! Glad i paid the extra $7 for shipping!

Suck i have some much work to do tonight! I did beat the first chapter in killzone.

Coming from the PS3 the ps4 is a dream to use. Shit just works. It must start downloading the update when you first turn it on. It really took like 3-4 minutes to download and update. When you download stuff in the store it just goes straight to background download!

They tired doing the same shit to me but I wasn't havin' that. I called them up and gave 'em hell and they changed it to one day ship after that.

Uh oh. Not good. I'm stuck a shipping soon and live in Chicago. I too ordered on June 10 and it still says I'm getting it tmrw. I've got a bad feeling.

you dont call...you sign up for a My UPS (free) account on their website and do it yourself...

before bothering though, you want to search for locations

- Go to UPS.com
- on the left find "locations"
- un check everything EXCEPT Customer Center (that is where the package will be held)
- search for the nearest one
 
Mine changed to shipped just a bit ago, as well ... I was considering calling UPS to get it held at the facility, but I think it's too late to do that, so I'll probably just wait it out and hope my home delivery guy actually makes it to my place.

My UPS driver is pretty sketchy ... my copy of FIFA mysteriously disappeared even though he never showed up, but recorded it as left at door.
 
Oh wow, I lucked out. My PS4 was finally shipped from Whitestown, IN, and on top of that, NBA 2k14 which was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday is coming with it tomorrow! So psyched!
 
Mine just shipped a couple hours ago, from Sumner, WA, about 2.5 hours away from me. I expect to see it sometime tomorrow (afternoon - UPS delivers later in the day in my part of town).

nope, its not too late...just did it myself 15 minutes ago...if youre going to do it read my post above (on this page) you want to search for the right locations before you do it...because if you have it sent to the wrong place you wont get it till next week
 
May have been posted, but if you have your UPS order in 'Ready for UPS' status, this means that Amazon has done part of the shipping themselves. This was posted earlier in the thread, but Amazon will take a truckload of the item to a shipping center in your state. You won't get an origin scan until it arrives. UPS does the rest of the shipping from there.


It took about 42 hours for my order to go from 'Ready for UPS' to 'Origin Scan'.
 
Ok so my estimated delivery window is between 2pm and 6pm....

I have the option to do will call at a "UPS operating facility"... does anyone have experience with this? is it generally faster if there is one in town (I think we have one)?

or should I just wait for the truck?
 
Called amazon. Spoke to a southern belle who could basically tell me nothing. And after I hung up, my status updated and suddenly it was shipped. Says it is guaranteed to be here tomorrow. Now, I just need the tracking number to actually register with ups.com, and I will relax.
 
My console is on time but Amazon decided to use Lasershit for my games and nobody knows where they are. I might have to go buy some game like Ghosts to have something while waiting for what I want. Yuck

Mine did that too and then it went to shipped. It also says it shipped at 530 this afternoon. Methinks some boxes aren't registering in their system.

Buy the exact same games you got from amazon on a credit card if you have one. When your amazon copies arrive take those games back to the store you bought them from.

Ha, yep, there we go. Shipped. I guess this is the first time I've ever watched Amazon so closely. These things are probably like this every day.

Yeah that sounds better than plunking down full price for Ghosts, I may just do that
