NA GAF - Post your PS4 shipment info!

Mine isn't far away now. It'll be arriving tomorrow 'by 8pm'. UPS usually comes between lunch time and 4 pm... I've got the day off to spend time with my wife (before she loses me to the PS4...) we're going out for breakfast, then she goes to work after lunch, and I stay home to make sure the system doesn't get stolen or put back on the truck.

I'm going to be glancing out the window every time a car drives down our quiet road all afternoon though.
 
Got a text message saying shipped, expected tomorrow

Refreshed Amazon.com... reverted to "preparing for shipment"

What a clusterfuck
 
Amazon app just notified me that it shipped, but the app still says shipping soon, and website says "preparing to ship"

I don't know who to believeee!

I wonder if there just different waves of shipments depending locale and depending n how much AMAZON and UPS can get out of the warehouses at one time if yours is still guaranteed by tomorrow.

I know mine was a little slow to go anywhere on AMAZON'S web site but they are pushing them out. I can't imagine how many people are involved working effortlessly to get these packages prepped, UPS label tagged and on hold till UPS comes and grabs another huge load from Amazons shipping and receiving docks.

I would assume there are a sh1tload of UPS BIG RIGS going back and fourth from amazon fulfillment centers to UPS Facilities. To bad we don't have real time info from someone on the inside of AMAZON. I would imagine a huge console launch near the holidays would require extra manpower.

I hope everyone can get their Ps4s tomorrow that are eligible or whom became eligible. I ordered mine at 9pm PST June 10th 2013.
 
I had posted earlier that switching my payment on amazon to a different card had bumped my delivery back to tuesday, but 5 minutes on chat with an amazon rep and they fixed it, and gave me free shipping.

Everyone should have customer service like amazon.

Mine went from not shipped to Pre-Ordered. No movement. Guaranteed tomorrow. It isnt a huge deal but shitty. If they want to give me another 15 dollar credit like they had to last week for screwing up I would accept ha.
 
Mine's in Kentucky (which gives it plenty of time to get to South Carolina tomorrow). Just got the email from Amazon. On the down side, UPS is down. Their tracking info is down, their web site is down. It's nuts.

Edit: I put leave at front door. That should do it right? My wife is going to be home, but I don't want any problems if she steps out.
 
I remember the same type of issues when the original Kindle Fire launched. Not to worry guys, the tracking system gets overloaded and takes longer to update.

If you ordered a launch unit, you should receive it tomorrow. Overnight those whose shipments look like they aren't moving or keep going back to preparing for shipment, just a heads up my Fire still showed preparing for shipment even after it was delivered on launch day.

I hope so. It started moving around 2pm today to preparing for shipment and now its at shipping soon. I ordered on June 10 around 8:05pm with release date delivery.

Shipped today from Amazon for a Friday delivery in NJ. I'm excited even though I don't want to play any launch games on it whatsoever. That's some good marketing. I'll get one game to mess around with until inFAMOSU Second Son hits. The new inFAMOUS Second Son gameplay trailer was just too good - I need that ASAP.

Didn't receive an email yet, but checked my order just now and it finally changed to "Shipped" at some point during the past 15 minutes. Expected tomorrow. I'm in NJ.
 
My PS4 went from South Carolina to Orlando, FL. It's like Amazon drove it to the UPS Orlando distribution center themselves seeing as I've had no updates since "Leaving seller's facility to shipment center blah blah in South Carolina."

It's only a 3 hour drive away from me now hngggggh!!

I find this time of night I get CSRs from India a lot. They are super polite but I swear they never get what I am saying or understand my urgency for electronics lol

Not sure if its been mentioned in this thread but you can have UPS hold the package at the closest Customer Center and then pick it up in the morning rather than having to wait through the day for delivery. It's free to have them hold as will call, and it can be done through the website's My Choice account or by calling them up.

Mine is just a five minute drive away so that makes it worthwhile. Get it early instead of waiting until 4 or so for delivery.
 
I just arranged UPS will call pickup!

This is what you do guys. If you don't have a free account setup with UPS, you need to do that real quick and be logged in. Then choose "change delivery" on the tracking page. Do this:

Then it gives you your local hub address. I was told I could pick up at 8:00 AM. Banderas.gif times one thousand.

My camera and copy of AC4 were each separate ups shipments, so I set up all three for will call.

Killzone shipped USPS but that's fine, I'll have plenty going on until that arrives.
 
Got notice of PS4 shipping earlier tonight and JUST got email that games had shipped. Also got an email saying I had a $5 credit on the new Amazon PSN store. Sweet!
 
Should I be worried if my Bay area shipment was in NV at 5pm? I;m not sure if my college mail services accept mail any later than 4pm :(

So if they are turning to fed ex for Saturday deliveries I don't want to sound to overly gleaming but this might give an indication of of just how many PS4 pre orders are being shipped.

Could be isolated incident(s), but we will see with the folks whom are still waiting for tracking info tonight.

Annoyingly, my launch edition Killzone bundle from Amazon, which I ordered on June 17th, still says preparing for shipment with an eta of Wednesday the 20th… :/
 
Sorry for repeating this question over and over, but I need an answer.

Do we need to sign for the PS4 on UPS? If so, is there a way to change the delivery time in a way that doesn't make them try again on Monday?

You may or may not need to sign. UPS leaves packages a lot but you may have to sign. You can either make a free UPS my choice account and authorize them to leave it at a certain area of your house or do a will call and you can pick it up the same day if you miss it before they close.

Shouldn't. I've tracked countless UPS shipments and on delivery day, it's always at the hub very early then on the truck shortly after. We should be able to pickup the minute the hub opens.

I may sleep in a little tomorrow, but damn, I'm setting the timer on my coffeemaker tonight and getting down there asap once i'm up.
 
Guess I'll have to wait until Monday. I know it's just a couple of days but it's complete bullshit that I ordered within a minute of the PS4 going live and I have to wait 3 extra days while people who ordered after me are getting theirs today and in some cases got theirs yesterday. It's the principle man!

Did the date get moved to Monday or are you just assuming. It sounds like they are going to be air dropping these things in tomorrow. Dont stop Believing!
 
I got a shipping notice and tracking number at 8:20 PM. The tracking number still only states that a label has been made. If they can get it to Roanoke by 4 AM, I think I'll get it.

Quick question. I noticed that some people mentioned contacting UPS and telling them to deliver it at a specific time. How can I do this?
