NA GAF - Post your PS4 shipment info!

I was late in the party...preordered on October 29 from Walmart. Regular shipping. Yet...I'm getting it on release lol

yup. I thought it hit the hardest when another Gaffer who ordered in October received his shipping info a couple of days ago but after the "Amazon has more in stock" thread, I think I'm done with the website/company.

Me:I need to have my order held at the UPS location for pickup, but when I login to UPS I don't get the option to hold it for pickup. I did some searching and came to the conclusion that the shipper (amazon) placed a restriction on the order so i can't change the delivery options. Can you check on this?
Jemima:Sure, I'll be happy to check the order for you.
May I please have the order number?

Jemima:Thank you so much for pulling this up. Would you mind waiting for 2 minutes while I check the order?

I have checked the order and I also checked with the carrier and yes, you are correct. We cannot make any changes to the order. Is there a problem with the shipping address on your order?
Me:no, I need the order held at the UPS location for pick up.
Jemima:Oh, I understand.
In this case, I will call the carrier on your behalf and let me see if I can request to have it held at the carrier's facility for you to be able to pick it up.
Me:That would be great but I don't think they are open right now
Jemima:Would you mind waiting for a minute while I talk to the carrier?
Me:usually this is done through UPS mychoice

I have good news for you!
The carrier has allowed to have your order available for Pick Up starting tomorrow up until November 21st.
You can pick up the item from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM.

TLDR: Amazon called UPS for me and had the order held when I couldn't, at 1:30 AM

Meanwhile my copy of Killzone shipped on Tuesday and won't arrive til next Tuesday (for some reason they shipped from Mississauga instead of Richmond), AC4 is at my local postal facility and coming in tomorrow, and I'm currently holding an unwanted copy of Knack in my hands.
 
Mine is still Shipping Now. No tracking # available.

I have a UPS account for business packages & nothing is coming to my address via UPS for tomorrow. Have 2 packages via FedEx coming tomorrow, but I know what those are.

I guess I'll check again when I wake up.

Same for me. I'll be sure to contact amazon CS and make sure I get something out of this if it doesn't show tomorrow. They get tons of money from me (been a prime member for years) and I'm not gonna get screwed over since they chose to ship it so late and use ground service.
 
Mine finally left the Phoenix UPS distribution center 12 minutes ago.
 
Yay! I was just notified that my PS4 is at the carrier facility that's about 10 min away from me. UPS usually delivers pretty late here, so is there any way I can have them hold it for pickup without the my choice stuff?
 
I cancelled my Amazon.ca order after scoring one at midnight! Screw them for real! Even when I was going to cancel, the status had not changed since I had originally placed the order way back on June 10th.

They did not charged my credit card, there just wasn't any activity at all. I learned my lesson after all. Never again!

Leave a note if you're at a house or trust your neighbors. If you REALLY trust your neighbors (or a neighbor) at an apartment and know they'll be home, leave instructions with a signature allowing them to deliver to the neighbor. This works well in small towns. If you live in an apartment complex, leave instructions to leave it with the leasing office.
 
So my Amazon June 10th Launch Edition is still "Shipping Now", so either they just aren't updating that it has shipped, or I won't be getting my PS4 Friday. I will rage at their customer support so bad at 8pm tomorrow.

The funny thing is, the distribution center is 5 min away from my work, but the package has my girlfriends name. You think they would let me pick it up? We have the same address.
 
It's almost 2am; Is there any point in my contacting Amazon and seeing what's going on? "Shipping Soon" with very little time (within the next hour or so) to get it onto a truck and moving toward my local UPS depot =/

Why did you put your girlfriend's name on it? You could have sent it to you care of your girlfriend. That way your name is on the package but she can also take it.

I used her amazon account, ups lets you put any name you want for pick up. Only problem the only pick up facility it offers is open 3:30 to 6:30 wtf ! I just changed her my choice to leave at the door if I'm not home
 
Smh. I love amazon. My wife and I are prime members and use them alllll the time.

However, after ordering and being hyped for halo 4 day one and not getting it till day 3, I learned to not trust amazon's game related day one promises.

Hope all get their orders as promised.

Tracking says it is safely nestled at the most local UPS facility 8 minutes away. Thank you, Amazon, for honoring the commitment we made on June 10.
 
My PS4 moved from Phoenix to Cincinnati in a few hours, I guess it was on an airplane. :)

Also, got this from Amazon;
