I would be kinda put off if they add another toon Zelda character. Alternate costume maybe, but not another character. I'd be down with SS costume for Link and Zelda for sure. I just hope Ganon stops being a clone. Eh...

Because of Namco-Bandai involvement, then there was that one thing where Sakurai asked a interviewer a question of who'd they like to see join in and what could bring. Or something like that.

That was damn lucky, especially given Villager even has a Balloon Fighter-style recovery.
Even before Namco Bandai's involvement was announced I thought Mega Man and Pac-Man were the most suitable new guest characters. They're both fun, colorful, and iconic, and they fit in perfectly with Mario and Sonic.
I also think it would be awesome to have Mario, Donkey Kong, and Pac-Man, the big arcade icons of the '80s, to coexist in a Smash Bros. game.

How does being a part of Smash Bros. history entitle Snake to special privileges? Roy is a part of Smash Bros. history and that didn't really help him. What's the difference? Does Nintendo have to secure the rights to Snake for every Smash game now just because he was in Brawl?

Yeah, but I don't see why that would be an issue. Sakurai has to secure the rights for every character (even Nintendo ones) each time he makes a new Smash Bros. I'm sure Konami/Kojima would be more than happy to let Snake return. Smash Bros. is a big series with a ton of visibility.
Snake is also more important than Roy in that he represents an entire franchise in Smash Bros. There was a Metal Gear character, stage, assist trophy, trophies, and stickers in Brawl, and it would be weird for all of that to just disappear.

Another DK and F-Zero rep would also be nice, but aren't really the high priority newcomers I want like the previous three I listed. Plus Dixie seems like a given at this point regardless, so I guess the idea of her showing up doesn't excite me as much as it would've in Brawl. Still be nice to see though.

Since I'm pleased with Brawl roster so I have hard time to coming up with top 10 characters due to Villager and Mega Man being confirmed so I had to fill out other two spots. I can say that top 6 characters that I would love to see happening. Last 5 characters were filler to make top 10 but I would like to see those as well but not important as top 6. If I get Takamaru, Little Mac, Palutena and Pac-Man then it would be good enough for me.
