Now it got updated that it is in Memphis, TN. How do you file a shipping claim for a refund? I thought I did through the customer service on their site but now got a reply from them that I'll get the package on Monday with no mention of them refunding the money. :/

I went to their live chat and explained that I wanted to file a shipping claim because I didnt receive overnight.
 
I just got a reply that they will refund $28.69 ($38.68-$9.99), which was going to happen anyway with that deal they offered.

"However, we are unable to make up for the full shipping cost since it is acquired by shipping company. In addition, package is being delayed to due to a local 60 freeway accident which was caused by a chemical spill. This was a major accident. As a result of the accident; the packages are being delayed to the East Coast. We have been working with FedEx in hopes to have the deliveries made before Monday. I appreciate your understanding in advance."

I don't care, just gimme my package! ;) It was really poor service that they didn't even alert customers about it in the first place.
 
^ That sucks, I'll see what they'll say to me next week about it. Technically I had free shipping to begin with that would get it to me this week, only paid for it to get it on Friday. I won't even be home the whole week so either it might get stolen now if they leave it or they keep bringing in slips which I won't be able to follow up with.

Just did the live chat and they said they can't file a claim until I receive the package and asked me to contact them again once that happens.

So it's after 9am and UPS still hasn't updated to Out for Delivery yet, after having been Out for Delivery all day Friday. I have a feeling it's going to be a long day...

Lol yup. Going to ask Amazon to reimburse me somehow considering almost every chat associate kept telling me it will arrive Friday, then Saturday, then assured me Monday with one day air, and now it's coming Tuesday via UPS ground.

Fuck Amazon.
 
So excited. After getting a false delivery notification Friday and finding out that it had just shipped, I decided to put a hold on my PS4. UPS opens up in a few and I'm going to pick it up!
 
They delivered it friday while I was at work but I'm going to pick it up tonight in the evening.

We ordered with EBGames.ca , any cases of people getting a faulty PS4 when bought from them ?
 
So I FINALLY got a scan that its out for delivery WOOOO. I thought for sure it was lost when the other Orlando GAF's were all getting JAX scans. Now I am fully expecting it to be delivered in a million piece or something lol. Hope everyone else gets theirs today also.
 
Finally out for delivery. Though, they moved the estimated delivery time from between 11AM - 3PM to 1PM - 5PM. :(
 
I'm not sure if I should have it held at a UPS store or not though, because my license still has my old address and I don't know if they'd release it to me =/

Anyone know if there'd be an issue?

Edit: Err, reading the MyChoice options, it says I can have it held at a "UPS Operating Facility" for free, or at a "retail location: UPS Store" for $5. Why do I have to pay them to hold it at a UPS Store? I think the nearest "Operating Facility" is at least half an hour if not more away ><

Edit 2: Holding at UPS Store gives a pickup date of Wednesday and the UPS facility that they'd hold it at tomorrow is indeed an hour long roundtrip. Fuck. That.
 
My PS4 has been in my town since Thursday night yet they somehow can't drive it the 2.2 miles to my house or let me come pick it up. This thing better either change to Out for Delivery soon or just show up on my door, because I'm starting to lose my patience with UPS.

Yeah, they failed me and many other people (judging by what I've been hearing here and elsewhere). My next $80 in Amazon purchases are on them though, so whatever. At this point, I'm just annoyed that I'm really going to have to wait around the house for this package a second time.

Contact their customer support. If it was in town on Thursday, it should have been delivered Friday.

I've talked to them 3 times and have been given a litany of excuses. I'll be getting in touch with them again if I don't see a status change by 11.

Well, I've been buying for a year and a half and never had an issue with them. Always had things delivered just fine since they send stuff by UPS which gets early to my house. Half the time I had games day 1 with their free shipping. The rest a day or two after, but hey no shipping cost. While Amazon usually gets everything late at night and tax and takes about a week at least with free shipping.

This won't stop me from using them for games in the future, but I probably won't buy something big like this from them again unless I don't care when it gets here.

Anyhow, my tracking says it's out for delivery now. No one is home for the next 12 hrs. Yay.

Guess I've been failed too. Ordered in June and shipped on 15th but for some reason it sat in San Bernardino for three days and has now finally left to go to Japan.

Paid for 2day shipping and supposedly would receieve it on monday, shipped on thursday from South Carolina....it's monday morning now and according to FedEx my ps4 is nowhere near the fucking west coast and I live in Hawaii.

What. The. Fuck.
 
My import console finally arrived from the states, and just got confirmation that it passed customs. The delivery agency will probably ask me to pick it up today at night, or tomorrow morning.

*Crosses fingers that it doesn't come DOA, since i bought it from Amazon.

I don't need that intense flaming in my life, so I'd probably just let another CS rep have it via chat until I felt better.
 
Finally received my "overnight" ps4 from newegg, look at this packaging, nothing on bottom or sides and some paper on top, smh. Better get overnight shipping refund.

Guess what!

Mine isn't bricked but my Harddrive ie sure fucked.... because it can't load without system memory! Anyone know of any fixes on this? And before you ask no I don't have a spare harddrive, and yes my PS4 has the harddrive screw.
 
My PS4 arrived from Amazon today, and I had no issues setting it up and getting it updated. My box and packaging were fine, but a buddy in town whose also came today was pretty beat up, looked like it had an unlucky journey. Haven't gamed too much, but mine is one of the Yantai(sp?) Sept 2013 models. Hope it holds up!
 
Greatness Arrived! Finally got my import console and so far so good. The box looked beated up though, not the PS4 one but the Amazon one. As others have said, it only had protection bubbles up the console box, but not under it or around it, a really lousy packaging job.

Already updated the firmware to 1.50, the menu is super sleek, fast and responsive, and the controller feels great, to a point that screens can't do it justice. It simply feels awesome on your hands, the sticks feel good as well as the material used on the back of the controller. The d-pad is different as well. I can openly say that the controller is the biggest surprise of the console.
 
Mine was delivered today at like 2:25pm, was working though so I didn't get home 'till around six o'clock. It works from the little bit I missed with it though.

It was so snug in the box that amazon sent also, they didn't crap out on the packaging for mine.

Ha, at least they put some paper in yours! Mine was just a box.
 
It cameeee. At some point. UPS guy didn't ring the doorbell or knock. He also left it (huuuuge box) in full view of the road. It's a miracle that it didn't get pilfered. The box is beat to shit, so fingers crossed!

So after being brushed aside by two Amazon reps and two UPS reps over the weekend I finally get someone to investigate my missing order. All they've offered me are apologies, not a hint of a credit or reimbursement and yet some people have Amazon bending over backwards offering them two or more credits or hell, another PS4 for free! And all because their orders were delayed by a day? They're overnighting me a PS4 but this whole experience has really soured Amazon's golden graces for me.

I have the worst goddamn luck. Yes I'm bitter.
 
I buy a lot of stuff from them (parents share the account so there's a ton of activity from them as well) so they're better off pleasing me than telling me to get lost. It really just depends on the CS rep you get as well (first guy offered $10, then $20, and then someone else e-mailed me with an additional $50 in response to an e-mail I sent).
 
Does anybody else still have a day one PS4 amazon preorder still not shipped? My date of arrival says 21-23 and it still isn't shipped. I spoke to customer service and they said "it s being boxed and will get to you by the 23rd" but I find that hard to believe.

So did I have the slowest shipped PS4 or anyone else still waiting? My June order that shipped on the 15th finally arrived today on the 27th (in Japan). It could just be because I only spent $12 on shipping. Wish I could send such a huge box to the US for only $12.
