I received my US PS4 today. You can just plug in the same cables you used for your EU PS3, the PSU is universal. Other than that, the download speed for digital games is pretty fast, the store is noticeably faster than the PS3 store, the Vita connection works like a charm and buying the US Version saved me 10 bucks even after expedited shipping + customs charges. All in all, I'm completely happy with my purchase.

Same here i pre-paid this past Friday and pre-ordered in June and have been told by Shopto that i'll have my PS4 for launch so going to give it till this Friday to ring up.
Yep, that's what my understanding of electricity told me too
However, even if voltage is not the issue, Sony Austria refuses to honor warranty for US devices. I'll have to send it back to amazon for a refund.

Damn, just a warning to anyone who has a pre-order with ShopTo, they try and charge you for everything when they process your order.
I paid my Mega Bundle off a few months ago, but have a couple of regular pre-orders for games on my account as well. They just tried charging me for the games along with the console, and since I don't get paid until Wendesday I very nearly lost my pre-order for the whole lot :/ They give your card three tries before cancelling, and they did mine twice in ten minutes.

I finally changed my pre-order into a Killzone mega pack even though it'll only be available well into December in my country. It's going to be a long wait but I have a huge backlog to keep me occupied...

Yeah, they sent me two e-mails saying they'd tried to charge £550 to my card, and that it had been declined. Which is worrying, since £450 of that has already been paid, so I have no idea why they were trying to charge me the full amount.
Am hoping it was just a quirk in the system though, and that now I've cancelled my game pre-orders the console itself will go through smoothly.
I like ShopTo, but I'd have much more confidence in stuff like this if their website didn't look like it had been cobbled together by a bunch of GCSE IT students.

Ps4 version of COD had the same release date as the ps3 version.

I wouldn't worry, even the shopto site it says it will take a number of days to process them all.
And really Shopto are pretty much the most reliable online retailer for games ATM.

Yep, the nightmare is only about to start.
Amazon estimates that shipping will cost $ 15 so they are gonna refund this amount. However, the cheapest option I've found is 39. Additionally, I'm not entirely sure yet if they will refund the 65 in customs, still waiting for a reply from their customer service rep.
If you mean the bundle with the camera and an extra controller it's not getting a release in Sweden afaik, Nordisk Film won't distribute it here.

Yes, our console box is also different.
Ours is a box inside a box. The inside box is the box the US are getting, but is plain white and then we have an outer box.
I've no idea why.

In the meantime their customer service rep already replied. They will refund my full shipping costs and import fees. They cannot send a replacement unit since they don't have any in stock.
So at least I will only suffer emotionally but not financially
No I just mean Killzone + console, it's confirmed for Sweden and all this time I've expected to get if for release but Sony for some reason doesn't want to confirm a date for it yet. It's proper bullshit.
