This also reminds me that it's criminal in every manner possible that Super Mario Land and (most importantly) Super Mario Land 2 don't get enough love officially from Nintendo.

3rd Rock from the Sun is actually one of my favorite sitcoms along with Seinfeld & Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. John Lithgow is absolutely fantastic as Dick Solomon.

It is quite frustrating. I wish Nintendo would use the handheld Mario platformers as an outlet for other villains. Wario would have been perfect for NSMB2.

Man, Slippy would actually be great as one of those fighting characters who attacks by tripping and falling down like Pheonix Wright or something. He could toss grenades that have completely random effects; most of his smash attacks would be him careening out of control, and his final smash could be shouting out LANDMASTER, only to have the submarine fall out of the sky instead. It'd be completely immovable, but could blast homing torpedoes in every direction.
