Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS Thread 3: Ridley's Believe It or Not!

So DK got a cartoon.
Mario got a cartoon.
LoZ got a cartoon.
Pokemon has a cartoon.
Kirby got a cartoon or is it an anime, I couldn't tell with that show.
Animal Crossing got an anime.
Kid Icarus got an anime short sort of.
Sonic got an anime and multiple cartoons.

Might be missing some...
But what other series needs a cartoon or anime?

F-Zero had an anime too.

A Metroid show might be cool if it was more moody and not too bogged down in heavy narrative.

Ahh I remember seeing clips of the F-zero anime on YouTube now. But growing up, I don't remember ever seeing it on TV even though they said it was on fox for a short while.

And there was a Fire Emblem anime!?
I need to go check that out now.

I never knew about that Fire Emblem one.

I remember watching it but I think I've only seen Falcon like once or twice.

I forgot this existed, holy shit. Here's some inspiration for your CG cutscenes in story mode, Sakurai.

o gawd no lol.

If it had to be CGI, a stylized Star Wars: Clone Wars-esque show with less emphasis on dialogue would be interesting.

Considering Samus is at her best not expositing much and kicking ass, though, I'd love to see her having adventures in the vein of Samurai Jack.

Nice, I was actually thinking Samurai Jack. You could go whole episodes with minimal or no dialouge.

If you need extra characters, shit, have it take place at some point when the Federation troopers are involved and add the Metroid Prime: Hunters gang into the mix, too.

Or even better, get Genndy Tartakovsky on board and have it play during the Toonami lineup so we can have a legitimately dark, alien series following Samus after the events of Fusion. Her slimmer Fully Powered Fusion Suit or whatever it's called means she could do all sorts of martial artsy shit, too.

That would be the perfect show to draw inspiration from for Metroid.

This is the best idea. Goddamn.

Someone get Nintendo on the line, I'll track down Tartakovsky.

Now I'm picturing a series where, following Fusion, Samus ends up having to lay low on some Jurassic Park-ish jungle death world until the Galactic Federation investigation blows over and in the mean time has to fend off the wildlife, rogue Space Pirates / bandits, etc. and it'd also provide an opportunity for certain characters to get their days in the limelight.

Not only was (maybe Sylux?) tailing her at the end of Prime 3, but if he was also on the run from the feds it'd be neat to see him again.

And, while it's pushing it, I really want to see Weavel come back and help her out on Mysterious Alien Jungle World and be voiced by Steve Downes.

I mean come on, how could they not?

My dream Nintendo animation has always been a claymation (with live-action backgrounds) adaptation of Pikmin 1, basically the box-art come to life.

Only dialogue would be Olimar's occasional journal entries (voiced by a classy actor) and the Pikmin/animal squeals, otherwise it'd be a silent film that'd just depict Olimar and the Pikmin working together. About an hour in length. More or less like you're watching a nature documentary.

I hope the "Pikmin Anime" that's in the works will be like that.

Wonderful 101 is perfect for a silly cartoon show. Sadly, that will never happen.

These ideas have me interested in a new Nintendo animated show. heh

I can't stay wake, last time I went to bed early Marth was revealed. o well

That's actually really cool sounding. Kinda funny since Samurai Jack had a couple of Metroid shout outs.

Pic of the day. The giant wind mill in the right-hand side of Windy Hill. It keeps on turning even though it can't fit in the screen, so you'll find yourself in trouble if you're on it for too long.

I really like this stage.
I wonder if Sonic is now considered a veteran and will come back for every new Smash Bros. game from now on.

Seeing as Nintendo is going out of business due to their console's failure I'd hazard a guess at this being the last in the series.

Back when Pokemon Black and White were new, I always thought a Nimbassa City level with the Ferris Wheel as a similar hazard would be a cool level.

I wish I could go back in time and show myself this picture as an 8 year old.

I feel like the Sonic stage might be a rather large one, giving it a Hyrule Castle feel, but smaller.
