Meh. I still like my idea. P5 on ps4. You can buy it bundled with the camera or buy it separately if you already have camera. Cameras for real social links with real people. To reach rank 10 with another person you have to talk about your problems until you break down in tears lol. Questionnaire at beginning of game to see which arcana you are. Everyone makes their own protagonist. You recruit other people to your team. Dlc includes kitty's because that's want people want.

So its definitely Persona 4-2.....really hope its something else as well or at least a full fledged sequel with new assets, instead of an expansiony pack sequel

I'd probably die. Not sure which would kill me though, the tears or the laughter.
 
Maybe the point is to remind you of all previous Personas, resulting in the culmination of Persona 5.

May or may not (probably not) tie in with what they set up in P4A.

No, because if that were the case it's not like they'd just leave P1 and P2 in the dust. P3 and P4 are of some relevance, even if that relevance is the upcoming P4A2.
 
What if Sega renames the Yakuza series to Persona in the west. And Persona 5 is just a reskinned Yakuza 5?

Wonder when the stream's supposed to resume. Stopped at about 2:15 AM JST and it had started at 8:00 PM the previous day, so I wonder if we're gonna have to wait 18 hours.
 
They should add characters from Persona 1 & 2 to the countdowns, if only because they added P4A exclusive characters to it. Going off the story ending on the fighting game, at least.

Only Labrys, and that's because Labrys is now tightly linked to the cast of both P3 and P4. P1 and P2 out of nowhere wouldn't make sense.

Well, excluding that
heavily implied villain tease of who was behind it all
at the end of P4A.

Asssuming Ulitmate Suplex has a story mode, it's interesting because they could either focus on THAT, or the Elizabeth storyline tease, or both. Uniting three out of the four Persona universes feels like a super fanservice move exclusively meant for a spinoff, but the Elizabeth plot could conceivably lead into P5, because the P3 velvet room does have a little subplot that carried over into P5.

Speaking of which, it's more interesting to see what they do with the velvet room now that Igor's voice actor tragically passed away. I hope they do something interesting story-wise, instead of a new character just saying "HEY, I'm more or less Igor now."

Double disappointment dollars if it's goddamn Marie for some reason.

I meant Labrys is the only P4A exclusive character out of the ones that appeared on the stream.

I wouldn't expect the Elizabeth sub-plot to carry over into P5 and more into P4A2 given that it's a direct sequel to P4A and that they wouldn't leave its ending which heavily involved Liz hanging.
