Eh, maybe, but Persona is a franchise closely tied to the Playstation brand. I don't see how that would be unexpected. Unless you see it from a business perspective, I mean, releasing it on a new platform without an established fan-base instead on the PS3 where you know your fans are definitely at. Of course, considering its not a late 2015 game, when the PS4 would probably have a more definitive status.

You're right. Why evoke the fond memories of the previous game by creating an elaborate teaser campaign in that style when you can use the style of the forthcoming sequel which you haven't even announced yet?

Oh wait.

I recall there were some cryptic images to promote SMTIV before it came out, and I think I remember something similar for Devil Summoner 2; at least Atlus has teased games in their own styles. But it's not like Atlus releases enough games to actually detect trends in their announcements. But we'll see if my pessimism wins out or everyone else's optimism! I do have enough faith that they won't pull some social media crap, but not enough to believe they won't keep driving the P4 train.

People used to say the same about FF on nintendo consoles and then on Playstation consoles, things change.

There is zero chance of it being exclusive to an Xbox platform though, that would be like Atlus giving the middle finger to their fans.
