Persona 2 had the best soundtrack in the series so far, in my opinion. The dungeon themes are especially atmospheric and fit the mysterious tone of Persona much better than P4's J-pop (which isn't bad, mind you).

One thing's for sure, they better not give the protagonist and the villain the same voice actor again. By now most people will assume the person sharing the protagonist's voice is the villain.

What if it's persona 5 with a new cast and the old P3/P4 casts? So same universe, cast from previous games being supporting characters but also with a new MC who has his own set of friends?

I wouldn't complain about that but I hope it's not JUST P3 or P4 or both casts with no new MC or anything.

Sega will make them skimp on the budget and it'll just be Japanese dialogue only like the later Yakuza western releases!

Ya know, watching these recaps really shows the stark difference between 3 and 4. In 3, each character had their own stuff going on, many with character arcs outside of the main story. In 4, it's a character arc,then everything is done either in a S Link or with the whole cast. Just different ways of using the party dynamic.
