Should have asked for socks for your Christmas, that way you could have got your PS4 on Friday. Oh well I will let you know how good it is
They'll be shipping them out all week, I wouldn't be worried until Thursday evening.

Lol.... I get bossed about for how little I do around the house, for how Badly I dress my daughter for nursery, for how untidy I keep my car and for the noise I make when I come on like a drunken bum banging about if I've been out with my pals........ However even my wife knows that there's more chance of her sleeping in the shed than me keeping that ps4 boxed for any longer than it takes me to find a knife to deal with the packaging.
It's just not up for debate, I'm like a kid waiting for Xmas and there's no chance this launch is being put back to actual Xmas...... Now I've said all this there's clearly going to be 6 inches of snow between now and Friday to delay my deliveries.

Halp! The 1.51 update file, does it include the mandatory install data too? So when installing it for the first time via USB do I just need to install 1.51 or do I first do 1.50 and then 1.51?
Can't tempt you to get FIFA at launch can I?

Preordered one 6 months ago at a local Dreamland shop along with a friend.
Got a call on Friday that his PS4 would be ready to pick up on the 29th.
He asked about the second one and there was none. They did put aside 2 Killzone copies though. :-/
They admitted that it was a clerks fault and that the would call back.
Never did of course. So yesterday we call back ourselves to ask and not surprising, he's getting one and I don't.
Now I've put in a "pre-order" in another store who has 13 reservations and only 7 systems coming in.

Nah just trying to cheer up. I planned on buying a launch game, but now I saw a new store is opening and have an offer on a PS3 I can give for my sister at Christmas.

I rang Barclays about this and they said there's nothing they can do. They can't put any markers on my account to show that I'm due to make a large purchase and they assess each payment individually. This is the most expensive thing I've paid on my card, I'm scared it won't go through but if it doesn't, they said that I can contact them and they'll process it for me. Although I'm scared that'll delay the order for me. What should I do guys?

At least Game have taken the money for my PS4 from my bank even though my Paypal payment to them is still pending. Gits, ask for the money from Paypal and then cancel the order while the payment is pending. That's slimey, really low.
I'm just about to try Argos for my red controller, wish me luck

So, you're not taking advantage of the full perks of adulthood I see. If my fiancee even suggested something like that to me, I'd just look at her for a brief second, and she would instantly know that only a goddamn apocalypse would keep me away from my PS4.
And for more practical reasons, you should check if its working fine. Imagine opening it up on Christmas and the PS4 doesn't work... How about that Christmas?
The sad thing is, that I just lost 2 jobs as well (man hard times!), and I tried removing myself a bit more from gaming and now it's basically all I have to do after studies and spending some time with a few friends and at the gym. I just have a hard time getting out of bed this week.

Yeah thanks was a terrible time, still now affects any relationships I have, bummer. But damn I can't wait to load up Killzone,Resogun and I'm so looking forward to Second son and Destiny. Going to be a great holiday for gaming and if they announce Fallout 4 would be amazing.

They did, but they've already begun registering the shipments with DPD and sending out tracking numbers; there just won't be any movement on the packages until Thursday.
My order is still processing. Solus console ordered the day they went up on the site. On their facebook I read comments saying some people didn't get Xbone tracking numbers until Thursday and still received it Friday though, so I'm not worried. Yet.
No they don't process till dispatch which is tomorrow or Thursday

That's rough mate. I lost my dad 21st of last month, most part of why I'm looking forward to this Friday now is mainly to have that something extra to take my mind elsewhere for a little while. Also lost my youngest sister in 2011, gaming helped then too, I actually got back in to games around that time after a couple of years out of the loop.
I will need to move my Wii u into my nephews room, I doubt I will be playing it again. Much more games for his age group and I'm kinda done with Zelda now tbh. I'm much more into fallout, elder scrolls and mass effect. I expect the ps4 will have them all and combined with my pc and vita,3ds my gaming needs are sorted.

The euro zone version of the ps4 app must be available as mine just updated to include ps4 titles.
I sacrificed Zelda on the 3DS to avoid this. Plus it's my birthday on friday so it's my birthday present to myself
(wasn't a big sacrifice, will be enjoying Mario 3D world and Zelda will give me something to play when I'm up at the folks over christmas)
