So what are the chances that Media Markt in the Netherlands will have extra consoles friday morning in store for regular sale and not pre-order?

Go to the product page on amazon.de. They list the release date with the 23th December.

It really sucks and I can't understand the delay. I don't have my initial preorder anymore and to be honest, the bundle price is just too good anyway to pass on it.
I would have understood it if every KZ megabundle was released later but now it only hits Germany (and Norway?) but the rest of Europe geta the bundle at launch?

Yes, instead of playing bullshit bingo they should have be more transparent about the release date. Yes, they said there was no confirmed date but when everyone else in Europe gets it at launch the expectations here are for the same or only a small delay.
Many cancelled their initial preorder and are now fucked.
 
Come friday ill have all PS4 games bar NBA 2k14 as i have it digitally.. Will take a pic :D

Guys lets put this into perspective, it has been:
280 days since the console was announced
169 days since the actual console was shown
99 days since the release date was announced

We've come a long way!
 
Someone posted in the Australian forum whirlpool that the Australian PS4s are made in China.

Was hoping to dodge the BLOD. People on that forum are reporting the status of their import systems, of 93 total machines 10 are DOA. So about 10% failure rate or 1 in 9 consoles is DOA.
I know its a small sample size, but the ratio has remained consistent overtime.

Kind of wish I hadn't gone with Amazon and went to a midnight launch instead. Would have saved me sitting here wondering if I will get a console at launch on time, and in one piece.

That being said, I have no car, so if I did go midnight launch, I'd have to carry it two miles through town to get home, and that doesn't seem smart at all.

If I can remember my Whirlpool login, I'll chime in. My imported(Amazon) unit is working flawlessly.

Just talked to a mate who is a store manager at an EB. They got their PS4 stock in today - 'Made in China'.

Damn, I am so hyped now. Its starting to get really bad, could hardly sleep last night. I think it will be worse tonight.

It was hard to accept the news but I got PS+ and downloaded plenty of free PS3-games so I'm gonna be playing the shit out of that and D3: RoS until December 15, which should be the date that I'll get the machine.

It is also worth mentioning that only certain addresses will get the bundle at its release which probably means that german buyers get it first.

While I personally think that was a good decision because many foreigners jumped on the Amazon.de bundle (with said bundle being available in their country little later) not leaving enough stock for the domestic market they should have communicated this fact better. Now these people are even screwed more than the german pre orders.
 
Ulgh got a tracking number for my PS4 yesterday, the site said it would arrive between today 13:00 and 15:00. Checked again this morning only to find out they changed it the delivery date to thursday. They'll probably do the same thing tomorrow.

man that sucks :( Everytime someone mentions amazon i rush to check my current order status. Everything is fine and they are preparing my killzone (game only) for shipment already. (release is friday too)


edit: oh you are talking about the bundle. Well thats delayed here as well.
 
Only two days, I can't wait, work will keep me busy today, I have tomorrow off work (and following 6 days) and have no idea what to do to make tomorrow fly by

Just went back through the thread and downloaded what I think were the 1.50 and 1.51 firmware, both are 307MB, is that right? Also I don't have to download the recovery file unless I'm upgrading the HDD?

So stoked guys. 1 day and 15 hours until the night-opening is here in Sweden. My local Gamestop will open at 20.30 to have a pre-launch hangout where you'll get to relax and play PS4. Gonna be awesome.
