The 3D World sales thread has got me hoping that Nintendo has some major games up its sleeve, because I really don't want to buy a Wii U just to play Smash Bros. Nothing else on the console (besides 3D World) really interests me. Granted, there's no way I'm missing out on a new Smash Bros., but I'd feel much more comfortable with my purchase if there were other games available I wanted to play.

Besides 3D World, Tropical Freeze and MK8 are the only ones I'm really excited for. Hopefully they show what some of their other teams have been up to soon.

There are a lot of good games on Wii U already and more to come. When you end up getting one I think you'll be surprised at how many games you enjoy on it.
I got free time mario kart wii u or smash u isn't out and i am on thanksgiving break, so i decided to head back into mario kart wii, on my wii. I went online and saw something hopefully they ingrate into smash u, being able to choose to play with people, in your immediate really close your region or the entire world.

I'm still wondering what's going on with SMT X FE. Who exactly is developing that? IS or Atlus? I'm guessing IS since Atlus seem to be busy with their Persona stuff.
Also still waiting for more info on X. It's been months man, I need something, a snippet of music or a blurry screenshot.

The more I think about it the more I think Reggie will show a Smash Bros trailer with between 1 and 3 new characters at VGX.

I hope VGX yields something. Even if it's not Smash related, just something Wii U related.
Of course my dream VGX would be a new Smash trailer and the Zelda Wii U announcement, but that's never going to happen.

Is there any chance of MGSV stuff there? Maybe they can reveal Snake.
I won't get hyped though considering it's just a US-focused event.
The only thing that's gonna happen at the VGX Nintendo wise is Iwata coming onto the stage, clears his throat and yells "People buy a fucking WiiU". Then he exit the stage.
I'd say if we're lucky to get a Smash trailer only expect one new comer at most.

I'm not fond of the Nintendo hate GAF seems to have developed and decided to focus on 2 days of Japanese sales for a low install base console. Especially when Japan is a handheld oriented place to begin with.
I find it ridiculous.
I try to disregard it but it's hard. It's really hard.
But I do find it just as ridiculous. I've played way more Wii U games this year than anything else. But then again, I don't like first person shooters.

For last two Decembers, we got a Direct from Nintendo. I'm pretty sure that they might do it soon as possible.
Problem is that it's hard to predict which week that they would host a Direct on.
