Noticed that Asda had some online stock this afternoon so stuck in a Killzone bundle order, it dispatched to DPD earlier this evening. I was going to wait until Infamous but now I'm hyped for a new toy.

I think Sony have played this launch just right.

They disabled it at launch for EU. Just to allow for the traffic increase. Something of that sort anyway as they posted it on the Blog.

With the launch of PlayStation 4 in our region only a few hours away, we wanted to give you a quick update on what to expect from PSN when you finally get your hands on your PS4.

We want to make sure that your online experience is positive. To help ensure that this happens, we have made the decision to switch off a couple of features for European customers on day one. These features will then be switched back on a few days later, once the intensity of launch day calms down.

The features we are temporarily disabling are:

• What’s New – Discover and engage with all of your friends’ PS4 related activity
• Content Information Screen – See friends’ activity and information specific to the title you are looking at

Not to worry, all of the other features of PSN will be fully available on day one. You’ll be able to play online multiplayer games with friends and your gaming community, get trophies, make friends and share videos and live broadcast your games so you can have a great online gaming experience.

I am pretty sure sony has disable the "Whats new" Section for launch day to maintain PSN performance.

I've been playing Remember Me all this week due to it being free on PS Plus. I think I regret playing it now because the art style seems very similar to Shadow Fall and the game looks really amazing in places. I should have played an ugly game instead so the PS4 and Shadow Fall would impress me more.

They called me three times this week to confirm that it will be ready for pick up this friday

They will call me as soon as they receive the next batch and they offer me free shipping as compensation.

Got the dispatch email for the Gamer pack just now. I was right. It was loaded onto the DPD van around half 12 earlier in the day along with my vertical stand.
