I have to wait till Christmas now, don't want to spoil the kids fun and take the attention away from the Wii u so mine is going to be locked away till late on the 25th. Ah well I've decided to treat myself to zelda on 3ds to pass the time hopefully that will easy my pain, doubt it though. First time in years no launch day party for me...... sigh.

The Danish launch was very uneventful. Only 20-30 people, but we had a lot of fun. Kinda disappointed that so few people turned up at midnight in a city of ~a million people though. There was a national news station present and everything, and they looked a bit let down too.
Oh well, at least the guy who got the first PS4 was happy.

No, but it was the main Gamestop store in the city. It was advertised on the EU blog and everything too, and like I said, some TV people even showed up to get it on tomorrow's news.
If the turnout was abysmal there, it's not going to be much better elsewhere I'd think.
Please note that one of the gamestop guys said they had so many pre-orders people shouldn't expect to be able to just walk in and buy one before January though, so it's not like they're not selling. The launch itself was just a bit of an anti-climax.
