Nah, it was amazon's site, secure page, and it shows up in my orders list on my amazon account page. So it did go through amazon, but it was odd the way I had to purchase it

So the SEN link shows up, says the price is going to be $30, but it doesn't work. Is it down/sold out/not active yet/what?

Thus far there's no confirmation SEN will actually drop it to $29 for today, it's possible but many reports now that it was a retailer specific deal. No one knows 100% for sure except Sony.
Probably because tons of people are trying to redeem codes at the same time, it being Black Friday and PS4 launch day in Europe. Unless you need to redeem the code now I'd give it a couple days.

Not being a snarky douche - but this seems to state that it IS going to be on sale?
Not only that, but the "buy now" button used to link directly to the PS+ Year sub on the store. So yeah, it didn't explicitly read "YOU WILL BUY IT IN THE SEN STORE" but it sure as hell didn't point in the other direction either.

I very nearly passed it up, I ended up snapping up 2 from Amazon direct. So I'd end up with 4 years if they post it, it's a lot to bulk up on but what else am I going to use $70 credit for? :/

EU killed the PSN finally
In the same boat as you. I threw funds in my wallet as soon as I saw the splash page with the $29.99 "Buy Now" link to the PSN store. In the end I guess it was pretty stupid of me to think that the $29.99 link would actually point to something that was $29.99. Lesson learned.

You cannot redeem these vouchers on the SEN website, you have to use a PS3, PS4, or PSV to redeem them. If you get an error while redeeming the code on a PS3/PS4/PSV and want to confirm it went through you can go to your Services List, there should be a PS+ sub if went through successfully.

Yeah it seems to be a requirement for their PSN DD store.
They updated the BF blog post on their blog with the SEN deals and they didn't bother adding in the PS+ promo so it's pretty much confirmed that it's not happening.
