Cheap Arse Gaffer |Europe| We Need To Go Cheaper

Yep, you had to have bought it from a GAME store and have a receipt to prove that you did actualyl buy it from a store. The deal wouldn't be honoured even with a copy bought from their website apparently.

Really? Wow. I thought the offer was restrictive enough, but that is taking the piss. probably because it would be £45 in most of their stores.

Lol, I was thinking about the Wii U WW HD bundle from Amazon.de which would cost me 260+20 EUR as I would have to pay for shipping but I thought that it was too much. I just found out that at a local shop I can get the bundle for 260 and for the same price I can even get the bundle with NSMBU+NSLU. Both deals should be pretty good, right? That's around £215 btw.

Now I am debating on which to get as I already have NSMBU so it comes down to either getting the Mario bundle and selling NSMBU or getting the WW bundle and buying NSLU. Oh well, decisions, decisions..

That's a ridiculously good deal.

Also, NSMBU & NSLU are on ONE disc. So you'd have to sell the NSMBU copy you already own.

Yes, that's why I mentioned selling my copy of NSMBU first... I don't know if it's worth the hassle though. Both bundles look equally tempting, I wish the Zelda one included a retail copy of the game and not a code, this would make it a no-brainer for me.

You could always sell the code ...

coin toss? :D

I'd be interested in NSMBU for the right price :) I'm in Sweden but postage shouldn't be more than £3-4.

Rhythm Thief (3DS) is one of the Amazon UK lightning deals today, at 1:15 PM.

Currently listed at around £25, so it's likely to drop below £20, which it hasn't done all that often.

Edit: Also Resident Evil: Revelations (3DS) at 5:15 PM (currently listed at £27).

Regular price for Rhythm Thief is less than 10 Euro at Amazon.de - doubt it will be that much cheaper here.

Any London GAF want a PS3 320GB slim charcoal black, mint condition with GTAV and GT5 for £70? I've barely used the thing and will use it even less now.

If anyone is interested hit me up with a PM. If it is inappropriate for this thread also let me know and I will remove this.

Either way is that a fair price for the console? I'm not looking for much, just want to get through Christmas. A little broke after buying PS4 :p

Mate, I've got a feeling you're really undervaluing that. GTAV alone is worth about £30. Don't want to see you get shortchanged, especially if you're broke. I'd bump the asking price up to £100 at least.

Well, I guess it depends on where you live, how much today's deal is and how much shipping to your country is.

Also the 10 euro copy of amazon.de is "Rhythm Thief und der Schatz des Kaisers". ;-)
The UK version will cost you 35 euro there. And it hardly ever drops below £20 afaik.

I bought a PS3 slim 320GB for £120 alone a few months ago. Definitely undervaluing it.

Dude, that price... you sure about that?

Figured as much, but I almost never sell anything and so have no idea where to begin.

Help me!

Isn't there a buying/selling thread? Don't know if that is too US-centric? I have a JPN launch PS3 I'd like to sell but I can't even trade it in because it isn't a UK model.

Aren't both games on the same disc in the bundle? I think there was a pic in this thread.

anyone in Europe looking for cheap ps4 games vgp has most for 44 euro each and 1 or 2 games for 35 euro

just bought injustice and lego marvel for my ps4 it was total €77 with p&p it came to €89.35 im impressed as games here are 64.99 and upwards

Worth it?

For a bean fan, yes
It includes all digital remastered episodes, 2 movies, all animated episodes (amazon.co.uk says a few are missing, no idea I never watched those) and the Mr. Bean teddy.

Edit: lol, shipping is £8.99. (I can only select "International tracked") :-) I don't think so, Zavvi...

Strange. When I ordered it a few months ago, they didn't charge extra postage.. It was 20pounds back then and they charged 2 pounds for shipping.

Seems like they have changed their delivery policy again.

http://www.zavvi.com/articles/international-delivery.list

International tracked delivery to Germany is £1.99. To France it's £4.99. To the Netherlands it's 5.99. And to Belgium, which lies right in between those countries, it's £8.99. :-)

Edit: the best option seems to be to order from Zavvi.nl. They charge €29,75, and €1,15 for shipping to all EU countries. Unless you live in either The Netherlands or UK, where shipping is free.

So that would be €30,9 (~£25.6) total.

I want to get some cheap digital PS4 games via US PSN account or amazon.com, which is the best way to go about it? Any pitfalls besides the DLC needing to come from the US stores too? do they show up in your own game library even if there on another account on the system, multiplayer work ok? I'm after a cheap AC IV.

I think i saw a thread on gaf about it but cant seem to find it again.

Thanks for the heads-up on this one. Rhythm Thief worth £9.99? I really like Ouendan and Rhythm Heaven.

I haven't played Ouendan, but Rhythm Thief is more story driven than Rhythm Heaven. I think it's worth the £9.99.

If you haven't, you should also check out Theatrhythm, which I like better than both Rhythm Heaven and Rhythm Thief.

Just tried to buy NBA from Amazon.com and it said it needs extra verification which may take 4 hours. Not had this before when buying PC codes from Amazon and I've heard they're clamping down on non-US purchases so not confident this will still work.

If not, I think I'll need to buy US PSN credit somehow?

Yeah, seems a US PSN credit code would be the way to go and redeem/download on US store. May need to search ebay or something.

Edit: So, best place to buy some US credit for the PSN Store anyone?

$50 codes seem to be £35 so when you add the other $10, it's not far off £45 anyway. The other option is finding someone in the US who could.buy the code and PayPal Gifting them the money.

I would tell you to wait a little bit to see If they email you the the code, the same thing happened to me and i received the email with the code in 20 minutes or something like that.

But of course, things could be different for you.

Oh I was going to wait, this is just in case they block it really.
