It's fun to learn about villager moves. His moveset feels so expanded due to all the little references. Definitely a newcomer I really want to try out when the game finally releases.
I wonder how many turnips he'll be able to get max? 3 already looks like a lot, so I can't imagine it expanding beyond 5 at the most extreme.
Kinda sad I'd dig the villager hitting people with 100.000.000 turnips.

Pic of the day. Turnips are used in the Villager's up-air and down-air attacks. Perhaps because the turnip prices fluctuate depending on the day's market, the number of turnips that appear changes every time. How cute.

It's spike's end of the year awards show which they wish to make the academy awards of video games. As most gamers properly didn't give a shit about it they started money hatting exclusive trailers and annoucements to get people to watch
At the time of Brawl she had played a lead role in the most recent Star Fox games, and people wanted her to use the staff moveset that her and Fox had in Star Fox Adventure. That or they could pull a sony all stars and have blaster fox and staff fox <.<

What hurts Krystal now is the fact the Star Fox series has faded a bit in popularity and relevance and I can't see a dormant franchise getting a 4th playable character nor do I see her stealing Wolf or Falco's spot. If wolf > krystal at brawls development then that should remain the same

I think it's just purely cosmetic, but what if the numbers on the damage meter is the price of the turnips? It would go something like this:
few turnips hit a guy with little to no damage= weak damage and knockback
few turnips hit a guy with med-high damage= normal damage and kb
Lotta turnips hit a guy with just a scratch on him= multiple hits of weak damage, maybe little knockback. You also lost a lot of bells
Lotta turnips hits a highly-damaged dude= High damage, knockback, and profits
...No, I never bothered with that shit in new leaf. I just shake trees and get free stuff from neighbors

I'll admit there are quiet a few characters with a 0.01% chance of being playable, but that's still a chance.
Not to sound rude but Wii Fit Trainer doesn't really mean everyone gets a chance. I mean, yeah it felt like a random out of nowhere character inclusion, but she was more than that. The whole Yoga thing she has works for her moveset, which is unique for Smash Bros. There is a lot of merit for the character and she is easily relevant due to the popularity of Wii Fit.
Her inclusion honestly does not mean much to most of the other characters.

Might I add that there's a >0% chance that Mario was never playable and his inclusion in Smash is entirely a figment of our collective imagination?

Yeah. I'm not saying this applies to BassForever, but you'd be surprised by how many people are saying things like, "Wii Fit Trainer means anyone can get in!" No. The floodgates haven't opened for every obscure character from every obscure game. Wii Fit is one of Nintendo's highest selling series of all time. There's precedent for non-fighting characters appearing in Smash Bros., so I don't know why people are acting like Wii Fit Trainer changes anything. She doesn't. It's business as usual as far as character inclusion is concerned.

The turnip move could be pretty interesting. Could be rotten on Sunday, which could poison your enemy. I love The Villagers moveset so far, I think it's very representative of AC. Good to know they aren't just phoning him in.
