Nah, it's one of the Wii Fit Trainer's special moves. It was shown a while back in her little preview movie as I recall.

Also I noticed a pattern. Whenever SmashGAF anticipates something, the pic ends up being crap. But when there's little anticipation (like on Friday), it was an awesome reveal!
 
Playing soccer on an airplane wing is old hat.

Basketballing on a train is what all the cool kids are doing now.
 
It's really not necessary to go through the whole "It's nothing!!!!" schtick every damn time, is it? We've known for a long time that 95% of these are just meant to be joke pictures taken by the dev team.

I remember playing Mega Man Soccer on an emulator back in the day.

It was alright, pretty fun arcade soccer game, main mode did a great job combining classic mega man structure with soccer. You pick the boss team you want to play, and beating them gives you one of their players. Bu the end you have mega man and 8 "powers" aka special team mates

I think Hitoshi Ariga's 4-panel comics about it are better than the actual game. When I played it as a kid I couldn't really figure it out. I think Ariga actually apologized to a fan who bought the game based on his comics.

On a side note, apparently the game's ending is actually dummied out. It exists on the cartridge, but you can't actually see it by playing the game. Ditto for Wily in a power suit. It's a weird and probably incomplete game.

Wily is the final boss and is playable in some of the modes, it's obvious in the free play mode he was meant to be unlockable but there is no way to do so. He's slightly off screen on the character select screen looks like it should scroll but doesnt
 
WFT is gonna be OP if she can spawn soccer balls without limit and if they're as strong as the ones from Brawl

I haven't been following this thread, I wonder what crazy character GAF was anticipating this time... honestly...

The picture itself looks nice. It makes me wonder why the characters look more detailed or clay-like here; maybe the stage's setting affects the characters more than I thought.

Have you guys seen the Smash footage that is playing on in-store kiosk sizzle reels now?

I was just in Walmart a little bit ago and saw them featuring Smash with a "coming 2014" tag on it

Some of it seemed new to me? Showed Samus & Mega Man, Link, and some others. Very short though.

Maybe its already been shared here and I'm just old with this
