How are Riviera and Yggdra Union?

I've been interested in those games for a long long time, browsed around and see some people say they're bad?
I've tried really hard to like Sting's Dept. Heaven games in the past, but they never click with me. Knights in the Nightmare is also one you might want to consider if you like their stuff, though. Gungnir, too.

mmm new Stealth Inc DLC (I still have to play through Teleport Chambers, though) and the times on all the leaderboards have been fixed back to legit times.

Picked up Rainbow Moon... I bought it on the SEN webstore like "I better get it while it's on sale" after having it in my cart, before going back to the Vita and seeing that I downloaded the demo because I was supposed to try it first before I bought it. Dat goldfish brain.

Might go back and get Stick It to the Man... I really should. I also pre-ordered Sorcery Saga. Still waiting on the potentially non-existent Putty Squad package.

Yggdra Union can be difficult due to how the game system works and the later stages dear god. But I enjoyed it. Not too sure on the latest one on the series though.

Riviera have no opinion on unfortunately as have never picked it up myself.

One thing to note, for that DLC, is the entrance to the new area is a bit hard to find. If you leave the town of the dead by the upper right exit and drop straight down into the desert, head left into the chicken passage. Follow that for a room or two and you should find a guy to talk to.

Here's a link to an example challenge (#4):

Cheers dude. You certainly are a helpful and active member of the Vita community! Hope you don't mind me adding you (B-Genius).

would i like P4G if i dont like JRPGs/menu-driven RPGs?

the only JRPGs that i ever thoroughly enjoyed were earthbound and the original paper mario.

If you don't like turn based combat then the main thing those two games had in common were their clever writing and humor. P4G has plenty of that so I'd say go for it.

Tough question. Maybe? The combat probably won't do much for you, but if you're the type of person that gets attached to characters it still might draw you in.

Do you like a good story in your game? If so then you might be able to put up with P4Gs battle system. Likeable characters too is another thing to add.

Just go to youtube and watch gameplay vids. Should give you a fairly good idea of what to expect then decide on pulling the trigger or not from there.

Pretty damned close here I think.

I'm thinking of getting one today from Nippon Yasan, but since I've already ordered P4G and VT4 this month, the wallet is starting to cry haha. Since don't have many digital games besides PS+ and KZ it should take a while to fill hopefully.

Hello Vitacats i just wanted to say hi from Argentina, im new on neogaf as a user but not new in the gaf world as iam constantly checking the Vita OT to see news and feedback about the games i love on this incredible machine. Right now i have 26 retail games and more than 90 digital games including PSN and PSM. Im really sad so many people still thinking the 100 limit for the bubbles is an "ok" situation. But i i have more than 100 bubbles and about 1 giga of space left on my 16g memory card. Im about to get a 32 g one but the situation will be the same probably.

sup homie

Vitacats? That's a new one for me haha

Stick it to the man looks pretty weird and fun. It's written by one of the guys behind Adventure time, right? Looks kinda Psychonautish

Any impressions?

It seriously is worth it though. For me here reason why its so filled is due to I just use the JP PSN and it has so many damned games dangerous is an understatement. Also bad habit of now buying digital copies of titles I already own just so I dont have to carry around all the cards on hand. But still want to keep the physical to collect with certain devs I like.

The less tiny cards to loose when one sneezes the better hence why yeah its worth investing in a 64 GB card. :)

P4G is kinda heavy on text/choices.

cool, thanks guys. ive been watching vids on youtube and it definitely seems pretty cool.

Anyone knows if The Amazing Spiderman game for Vita includes or not the DLCs from the PS3 version? How bad is the game in terms of gameplay and frame drops?

Game has a pretty kickass soundtrack too. Anyways good luck on your choice and hope if you do pick it up you enjoy the game.

FINALLY finished KZ merc campaign. On to oddworld!

Stranger's Wrath? Make sure you update it first, and change the camera settings to your preference.
This is a game you'll want to take it a little slowly in missions, no need to rush at the enemies, taking them off one by one is a better option.

There are complaints of frame rate issues from those played the game, and the graphics took a major hit.

I recommend waiting for a sale on this game, there are a lot better games you could buy. If you wait a few weeks, maybe Batman Origins Blackgate will go on sale.

Dont know if im reposting but MononokeShowdown and Gun Commando are Free right now on the PSM grab both!! MononokeShowdown is more a hack and slash and Gun Commando is a FPS both very good games.I have both games and bought them so it is really sad that the two free games of this week are games i do already own.

Edit:

Tizoc: Hey thanks for the response , im thinking of getting Injustice first , Tearaway(i really have enjoyed the demo) , and THAT jrpg about curry.

before that, it was Passing Time + rympadsel right?

Yes Passing Time it is an excellent game that i didnt buy before went free becouse it was too expensive(around 6 dollars i beleive. The other one is a minimalist strategy game. The first wave of games are actually really nice but i cant wait one more week! u___u

I swear I'm on the most recent firmware because I have the "ps4 remote connection" icon, but under settings I dont see mobile network anywhere. I literally dont have a sim card, would I need one to enable that menu option?

If you hold down the PS button, it'll pull down a quick-settings screen, and you can toggle the mobile network from there.

Just pulled the trigger on it. Kinda excited to have all of my games on it. No excuses to avoid getting platinums now.

If I use the recovery menu to format my Vita system, will I loose all my downloaded games and save files? (I'm assuming this is all stored in the memory stick?)

I can't loose my stuff, so I need to know for sure.

Nice, I wanted to give a try to Mononoke Slashdown. I'll download the other game too, but I don't know everything about it.

I didn't know what button I had to press to do the Energy > Health exchange, so the game was crazy difficult for me... once I learn I had to press triangle I didn't have any problems with it. Still, when I learnt how to do it I had already lost interest. I'll try again later, but now I'm playing Guacamelee! :)

During the day, your chosen Magical Girl can converse with her fellow allies and strengthens their bonds, while at night you pick a partner go kick some witch ass. Yes, that means playable crack pairings.

Sayaka and Homura.

The superior crack pairing.

We should vote on the default name for Vita users in GAF.

VitaGAF.
VitaPals.
VitaBros.
VitaCats.
Vita... what else.

Vitaminions, as mentioned above, sounds cool. :)

I don't remember who labeled us Vitabros, was it Shahid? On a side note, it would be cool if he chimes in here like before.

Yes, I like the double meaning of Vita owners being (painting in broad strokes here) both enthusiastic and vivid (vitamins) and very devoted (minions) :)

I like Vitamins too.

BTW. I've just change to 100ppp. I'm afraid of what could happen if I enter in a thread full of GIFs. If my laptop explodes is your fault.

I'm sticking with Vitabros.

Vitamins is clever but... there's no heart in it.

How about Vitalites (with Jamaican accent and everything)?

Have you got already the three freebies that you get if you do the PS4 Experience thing on the "Home" thingy? i mean Twisted Metal, Destruction Derby , and Warhawk. All of them are Vita-compatible. So if you dont have it , undust your "Home" app in that PS3 and DO IT!

Edit:Mi First Top of the page so here it goes: Buy Malicious: Rebirth, Flower, Guacamelee, Tales From Space!!

And let me tell you Street Fighter x Tekken is awesome on That Vita Oled!

Update on my Vita situation: Tested both my Vita and charger with a friend's Vita and charger. My charger is working flawlessly, the problem is with the Vita connector, who is suppose to receive the charge.

I got the orange light blinking twice and then going dead. In an desperate effort to fix this, I reseted everything to default, and still no change, meaning is a hardware problem.

I will try to go to the store where I bought it, although I don't have the receipt anymore. If they don't change it, maybe I will try to contact Sony Korea, and I know this will be a pain in the ass probably.

The saddest part is, I'm willing to buy another Vita if it all goes to shit, because I just love this system so much.

I'm glad I could at least reach the final chapter of Hotline Miami, so I can know watch the ending on Youtube.

And please allow me to rant just for a bit, because I feel so hurt: Fuck this last couple of generation, developers, publishers and the console companies. Holy jesus fuck, how can they screw up us so much and get away with it. I'm so tired of firmwares fucking and bricking system, save files, corrupted updates, long-ass installing times, patch this and patch that, exclusive DLC for Amayzon, EB Games, Gamespot, games not get localization, region lock, accounts getting banned for nothing, etc etc. But must of all, all FRAGILE all this shit hardware is today. I carried my Vita around like it was a baby, and within one month it broke. I remember my Gameboy falling a few times, cartridges falling aswell, and nothing happening.

I'm so sick of this bullshit. I wish I could go PC gaming where the stress factor is less (although it exists).

I actually have those games codes but haven't redeemed them yet. Maybe I'll give them away come X-Mas.
