I want to grab it, but I need to finish Tearaway and Ys first. I, like everyone else, have a bad habit with my backlog.
and your Tearaway story is just getting good!

I actually have those games codes but haven't redeemed them yet. Maybe I'll give them away come X-Mas.
So I finally bought a Vita and it will likely be delivered today. I bought it with two cards, one of 8GB and the other of 4GB. My question is: Can I switch them freely whenever I want or do I need to reset the Vita or do some kind of shenanigan every time I want to switch the cards?
Did some of you play Tearaway with the first person camera(with wide angle lens)?
I used it to find hidden things and imo it's another game that demonstrates that first person games work well on vita.
Just impulse purchased Tearaway based on GAF recs. Will see if I dun goofed when I wake up in a couple hours.

Welcome to VitaGAF! Didn't one of the firmware updates get rid of the No SIM text? If not, you can always turn it to airplane mode, which is what I usually do.The Vita model that I received was actually a 3G model. I have no plans at all to use the 3G function, but will this affect the battery in any way? Also, is there a way to get rid of the "No SIM" on the taskbar? No biggie, but it would be nice to not have it there.
Thats not exactly true as whatever is not listed on the compatible list wont work. Since in the PSV TV import thread some folks mentioned some titles did not work, which were not part of the supported list.
The bottom line is, if you dont buy things on the JPSN dont buy a PSV TV. Period.
I"d buy two in a heartbeat. One for my bedroom as a streaming and quick-play-before-bedtime device and one for my living room. As much as I love my vita, I'd be doing backflips if I could play some of these games on the big screen. Are any of you guys excited about Vita TV?
Would you buy one to compliment your Vita?
Perhaps more importantly: Do you think it would appeal to anyone not already owning a Vita?
It seems to be doing craptastically in Japan so far, clocking in on 5k in its third week today.
It gives The Last of Us a run for GOTY in my books. Haven't had such a joyful experience like I did in Tearaway in a long time. It's just so full of heart and soul. And the soundtrack! Sssooo good...Just impulse purchased Tearaway based on GAF recs. Will see if I dun goofed when I wake up in a couple hours.
It's here! \(^__^)/
Very very happy with it. I'm absolutely blown away by the OLED screen, I've never seen anything like it! Probably the most aesthetically-pleasing gadget I own.
I signed up for the PSN+ trial...woah, all these games man, how do I hold them? I spent ages just browsing through the store, looking at all the PSOne and PSP games that I wanna buy. My eyes couldn't believe the amount of games to buy on this thing. This is my first Sony console since the PS2 so I have a LOT to catch up on! My poor wallet :[
I'm actually so excited to play the old Crash and Spyro games, the FF series, MGS...couldn't stop smiling when I saw these on the store![]()
I made my first purchase on the PSN store, Spelunky, which looks gorgeous, but I suck at it. I'll keep at it though, hopefully I'll get past 1-3 eventually haha.
I started playing Tearaway too. Wow, such a pleasant experience! I adore this game, it just looks, sounds, feels beautiful. I'm definitely gonna savour this game, play in little parts rather than steam through it.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with the PS Vita. Still can't get over the size of the library it has. Now I just need to find the time to play everything that I want. I think I'm actually gonna postpone the purchase of a PS4!
Thanks to VitaGAF for actually persuading me to get one. I've been reading the various Vita threads these past few weeks and I'm glad I did because this little device is a great addition to my hobby.
Wow, I always thought Schobeleth meant she took a hammer to his Vita figuratively, not literally.

Spy Mission DLC and Stick it to the Man are being looked into…
There are supposed to be three Gravity Rush DLC packs right?
I can only find the Maid and Military Pack on German PSN.
Now I'm doubting myself. Great.
Anyone bought Spelunky while it's on sale? I played the demo but I'm still on the fence.

Call and ask about your Soul Sacrifice patch.
£5.19 if you have the PS3 version according to the blog.So what the fuck-fuck. I thought you were supposed to get a hefty discount of Rainbow Moon if you had the PS3 version?
Flying Hamster HD
Strikers 1945 Plus (PSP)
The Red Star (PSP) isn't exactly a shmup, but it has sections that are reminiscent of one.
Other PSP titles like Gradius Collection might work for you as well.
Unfortunately SCEA/IREM dropped the ball and none of the R-Type games work.
Also recommend Neo Geo Ultimate Shooting, Cho Aniki Zero, Cho Aniki, Zanac x Zanac, Shienryu, Mobile Light Force and Capcom Classics Collection Reload.
Hold the PS button down. deselect the mobile network button. It's here! (^__^)/

Press embargo ends on the 10th, and the dev Tweeted on Monday it's out on the 10th as well.
I just started playing last night. It's...interesting.
I thought it was a given that anyone with a brain would know that only the supported games are working because of the missing touch inputs.
I thought there was and they screwed up or didn't give it to EU users but you do actually get one it's just done as it's own separate item in the PSN store. Just type in Rainbow moon and it should pop-up as one of the options (Rainbow Moon PS3 Player Special Offer specifically)So what the fuck-fuck. Had a quick search in here and for any threads and didn't notice this. Argos in the UK have got another Vita deal on again for a 3G Vita, a 4gb card, LittleBigPlannet and Tearaway for £139.99. Best of all it appears to be physical copies too.

Got Rainbow Moon!
Looking forward to playing some more of it on a portable after giving the PS3 trial a go and enjoying it.I thought there was and they screwed up or didn't give it to EU users but you do actually get one it's just done as it's own separate item in the PSN store. If it doesn't pop up on the Vita or PS3 stores it should on the webstore.

Also is great anime device lol. Screen size is so good for watching vids.

Anyone bought Spelunky while it's on sale? I played the demo but I'm still on the fence.
Yup, it won't win any awards but when I've needed to use it it's served me well enough. Before I started playing games, tried how the PS vita browser works. Is good, kinda slowish, but it doesn't crash like PSP browser every minute.
EU PSN sure did put a lot of people including me in a non-festive mood, let's hope tomorrow's sale isn't bad. Expect to own it already but as long as it's good.
Reserved and picking up tomorrow. Thanks.
I have both of them but they are awesome games and I'll be able to co-op LBP. And another Vita + sealed copy of Tearaway? Sure
Sister is telling me it's a waste of money...which it is but hmm

It's a super solid game--I've watched a lot of really interesting Let's Plays of the PC and XBLA versions. I wanna buy it so bad, but the controls in the demo are practically impossible for me to get used to. Bleh!Anyone bought Spelunky while it's on sale? I played the demo but I'm still on the fence.
What's wrong with them? They're incredibly tight as far as I can tell. It's a super solid game--I've watched a lot of really interesting Let's Plays of the PC and XBLA versions. I wanna buy it so bad, but the controls in the demo are practically impossible for me to get used to. Bleh!
Red Star looks like it's primarily a brawler, don't really like those...
Strikers and Gradius aren't on the EU PSN store.
I'll try the demo of Hamster.
Shienryu is the same as the PS2 game Steel Dragon EX (which also includes a polygonal remake), right? And from what I heard Cho Aniki may look strange but the gameplay is pretty meh,
Zanac and Mobile Light Force are apparently not on EU PSN.
Bought Neogeo and Capcom Classics, let's see.
Does anyone else have characters that are supposed to be locked in Spelunky?
Don't know if is avaliable on the EU store, but Winds of Thunder is the best shmup on Vita.

Although I suck at it terribly, it is easily one of my favorite games on the Vita. Easily.
The gameplay lends itself perfectly to a handheld, as it really is pick up and play.
And it is quite the challenge as well.
Fantastic, fantastic game.
I picked it up Day 1 and have no regrets at all doing so. On sale? That much better.
Absolutely recommend it. Like not even a question. Get it.
Thanks for the Spelunky impressions, guys. I think I'll give it a shot.
Buy it so I can kick your ass in it!
I got it on my JP account. It is a PC Engine game. I think is called Lords of Thunder in english. Kickass soundtrack, and plays like a dream on the vita.
Don't know if is avaliable on the EU store, but Winds of Thunder is the best shmup on Vita.
Quick search of Winds of Thunder on the NA SEN store yields nothing? What is this game and where can I find out more?
