I'm having some issues with the audio output from my dualshock 4. First I noticed some "audio popping" from the controller's speaker while playing Resogun. (No headphones attached) I kind of dismissed it as a one off issue with the session, as I had played Resogun several days around the launch window with zero problems.
Fast forward a few days and I finally got around to playing some Killzone, and wanted to try pushing full game audio through stereo headphones. Started hearing the "popping" again sporadically followed by short spurts of audio dropping out completely.
It comes across to me as audio latency or interference of some kind. I checked that all other Bluetooth devices were off in the house, did a fresh system restart, and tried some other applications like Netflix and even navigating back and forth rapidly around the xmb. Same result across the board, random popping and dropouts no matter what I'm doing, probably 2-3 times a minute.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this? The controller itself is very responsive, and has never dropped inputs or the like. I should also point out that audio is crystal clear and perfect coming through my Bravia's speakers. My setup is just HDMI straight to the TV with no receiver.
I've only got the one controller to test with right now, any help or insight would be much appreciated. Thanks.
