Pic of the day. Here's a new Assist Trophy--the Skull Kid! I repeat, it's an Assist Trophy, not a new fighter. The characters announced on the website are the fighters!

Dang, I thought you were joking.

Skull Kid fans ton be pissed lol

The first official assist trophy. Pretty cool.

This week was a huge improvement over last week, and we probably have a character reveal this weekend too.

SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSMOKIN'!

so really

Majora's Mask 3D has to be real at this point, right?

also where do assist trophies fall on the threadworthiness scale?

That's a damn good model for an assist trophy. Way better than the one's Brawl had.

Nice to see Sakurai at least acknowledged Skull Kid and made him an Assist. I wonder highly requested characters will make it as Assists this time around? If we get anymore Zelda ones, I hope we get Groose.

Hahahahah!

Take that, you poll-manipulating website!

Anyway is Villager the only Smash character whose origin is in Nintendo 64?

Skull Kid looks so goooooooooood. I wonder if he'll do something typical like drop the moon on the battle field (as an AT version of Snorlax or something) or if he'll do somethin' crazy like change everyone into Deku Scrubs.

Now I really hope a new trailer is soon-ish just to see ATs in action.

I'd sort of consider Link too since he's based off the blonde "Adult Link", which began with OoT.

Was Wolf in snes Star Fox?
Besides maybe Ganondorf and Wolf
and Banjo in some parallel universe where Nintendo kept Rare ;_;

Star Fox 2 sorta counts.

Sheik, Ganondorf (technically), and Wolf.

Oh yeah, forgot about Sheik. I'd not count Ganon in essence but I guess that works too.

Now I'm interested in 2D Sheik..

So what was the Link in 64 based from? Then again I wasn't really clear on the release date of Smash 64 and OoT so I guess he could be based from OoT still.
