Capcom Cup confirmed to be anti excite as fuck.
Where's the Nemo/Fanatiq prediction though?
Fei Long is a pure footsie/poke style character with great corner pressure, great Focus Attack and some good mix up options (overhead and command throw).Thanks.
Now if only someone could tell me what archetype Fei Long is cause I'm still bad at fighting games and want to learn before USF4 comes out
What type of playstyle did Poison have in SFxT? I wanna know if it's likely it'll carry over to USF4.
I got Fanatiq.Capcom Cup confirmed to be anti excite as fuck.

I got Fanatiq.
Fanatiq's preparation is something else and I don't think Nemo's prep will be anywhere near as rigorous or effective. I want Nemo to win, but Anorexic-Batman-prep Fanatiq too stronk.
I want Fanatiq to bust out a new team honestly, I'd be hype for that.

People really think ChrisG is going to take AE huh? Reminds me of when people said that Chris was going to win AE at Evo too.
Wait, who was that Rocket Raccoon player who won Final Round that one year. Is he going to Capcom Cup?
I just presented the evidence for the Nemo vs Fanatiq MM.People put a lot of stock into those 1 set of money matches. Is there really evidence that Nemo is consistent? I think his advantage was that we don't really have people who play his team at the highest level. I have an inkling he's being seriously over-hyped...
That makes you OG FGC-GAF bro.I wonder if I even FGC-GAF enough anymore to get an interview slot. I also need to go back and find GreenAce's matches throughout Saturday, Marn vs. Flux and everything Sanford. I missed a lot for my supposed "return to monstering".
At least I was present for MarlinQuotes commentary.
On the flipside, what kind of an accomplishment is beating Chris G and FChamp who are both known to psych themselves out in extended sets? Nemo was a ton more motivated to body those dudes that were learning on their feet and he did and they didn't prepare for those sets either.Yeah he's sure beaten some huge people dominating the MvC3 scene with his prep in money matches. Like Rayray in his first real big money match with no real experience. CJshowstopper? Joker?
In the world of mvc3 I can't say I'm that blown away by MM mode Fanatiq. He's definitely good but meanwhile we have Nemo who can beat Chris G and FChamp. He can't really use the mind games he likes to use as easily due to language barriers.
He's got nothing.
You mean the weeks upon weeks of Fanatiq sandbagging to make it seem like he wasn't very good were minimal? Going on streams to showcase his lack of ability etc? He talked about it all in great depth during the EVO panel about the mental games he played on RayRay as well. That makes you OG FGC-GAF bro.
It's okay, if I didn't make these threads I probably would be a ghost in the wind here too.

Not really sure about what you mean about mind games, but if you just mean a whole bunch of shit talk to throw you off, it was pretty minimal, if at all a factor with RayRay.
I put them both on a pretty equal level in terms of potential. Nemo is a tiny bit overrated just because of what people know him best for, but dude's performance isn't really so consistent that he's an unstoppable force, nowhere close. I have a better idea of what we're going to get from Nemo than I do Fanatiq, and that's part of the reason I give advantage to Fanatiq. Fanatiq has two plus teams at his disposal, extended experience against at LEAST 3 top class players who play his team, and 2 of which in long sets.
It's referenced to in the thread title.
You mean the entirely-transparent-to-every-single-person "sandbagging" from Fanatiq? People called that shit out everywhere, and I'll be damned if RayRay eased up for it. Don't tell me you were fooled on this shit too. Maybe streaming his "training," but that took a comical turn too & the rest of it wasn't fooling anyone. You mean the weeks upon weeks of Fanatiq sandbagging to make it seem like he wasn't very good were minimal? Going on streams to showcase his lack of ability etc? He talked about it all in great depth during the EVO panel about the mental games he played on RayRay as well.
Not just shit talk, but actual mind games. How he trained RayRay to think he had certain habits prior to the match. Like RayRay walking in the room to observe what he'd do, so he'd purposely do the same mixup every time to train him to think those were his habits.
Those are the mind games I'm making reference to.
FChamp crumbles in high stakes long sets. You just mentioning the 15-10 should mean you know dude is unstable and can destroy himself before the opponent can because that's exactly what happened to FChamp. Chris G has gotten better over time, and come to think of it we haven't actually seen many long sets from him, but he has a history of being unstable in reset brackets. Better now of course, but there's less to go off of there so you can't just give dude the shadow of the doubt and say Chris G was worthy in a format he is uncomfortable with and refuses to play with others in. It's hard to substantiate Nemo being somehow grizzled when any substantiating evidence comes with an asterisk.Neither Chris nor FChamp "psych" themselves out in long sets. FChamp has a solid long set record and ChrisG prior to the Nemo set was undefeated in long sets (we already forgetting the 15-10 epic Chris vs FChamp set or when ChrisG bodied Frutsy?). FChamp himself plays long sets constantly, he did the longest official set in Marvel 3 against X Ray at FT50.
Marginalizing Nemo's wins over FChamp/ChrisG is a joke.
And people are still flipping the use of "consistency" here. We are not talking about consistency in 3/5 tournament matches we are talking about consistency in long sets. In long sets Nemo's top performance is factually consistent. You could say the same for Fanatiq as well.
I don't know if there is some arcade stick thread lurking in the community ghetto so I am just going to ask here. What the fuck is wrong with the Tekken Hybrid stick? Why did they make it such a pain in the ass to take apart and did Markman apologize for this bullshit?
Thanks, any particular reason why page 32 though?
he's probably on 100ppp
