They announced (kinda) that Smash is releasing in the Spring, so maybe that counts?

Brawl may have higher resolution textures and slightly more polygon count, some better lightning, but honestly I think Melee looks much better personally. Artstyle wise, how everything is colorful and meshes well with one another, especially on Sheik's face. In Brawl it's ugly.

Ugly? Realy? There's nothing wrong with it. Just looks like they made it a little more "realistic" by making the eyes smaller...

Smash Bros. 4 looks like it's going to be an amazing mix between bright colors and detailed models. I'm really excited to see some gameplay.

It seems as though Nintendo is going for a universal look this generation across all of their franchises and studios: rich colors and ample lighting combined with a lot of detail (either polygonal or bitmapped).

This generation, even the new Smash Bros. game is operating this way aesthetically.
