It's because there's a miscommunication to the server and it's counted as a disconnect, hence why your PP/BP is going down. It happens in SFxT as well.

Fucking hell, this game never ceases to find ways to make my blood boil. Lost over 600 PP to this shit after an overall frustrating evening playing Ranked over PSN. All for nothing. At first I thought I was just seeing things. After a few more matches I started thinking that maybe there was something I just didn't know about how BP and PP interacted with each other after all these years.

Haunts is now doing video production and event management for Capcom. They'll both be at Capcom Cup Saturday, Magus has Marvel commentary duties.

Patch fixed a majority of the issues. Timer is still a bit fast though, but throws eating red life helps with that aspect

Everybody wants to watch the new game. I think Injustice and Persona had similar numbers as well. And at one time their was a lot of bitching in the chat asking LU to show TTT2 all the time or a lot more than AE 2012.

Wait a few months and see if the viewer count holds up or is still as high as the other big games then we're talking.

Dude just doesn't understand that his gameplay is almost universally seen as boring. No one is denying his skill/ tournament results but goddamn, he really is the San Antonio Spurs of the FGC.

There is hope for him. He's clearly smart and if he starts becoming more of a heel, I think people will start seeing him as hype. Needs to start calling people out and money matching. Right now, his gameplay and his personality are just too vanilla, which is why I always see his streamed matches as the best time to take bathroom/food breaks

why does game preference suddenly correlate to platform choice

You mentioned this before too with GG coming to PS4, but it's not like that shit matters much when it's on PS3 as well. Not shocking either that supply constrained consoles don't have a widespread install base.

Neo isn't going to win any popularity contests or even any majors when he jacks FChamps shit and plays an inferior version of that team. FChamp plays every single character better than Neo.

People like to see character specialists. Everyone who got voted in Capcom Cup are character specialists. You have the best Storm, Akuma, Wolverine, Magneto, Hulk, Haggar, Magneto, Dorm, Doom, Phoenix, Morrigan, Vergil, She Hulk, Tron, Nova, Strange, Spencer, Viper, Ammy etc. Neo is not a character/team specialist, he doesn't bring anything unique to the table.

The only way he will start getting props is when he starts play that team better than FChamp.

Speaking of which, FChamp bodied KBR 10-0. That was just annhialation. This is what I mean by skill gap... KBR was mauling Drew and GCYoshi but FChamp is a god.

The problem is that for the FGC, the PS4 looks like the system to invest in for the future. We know ASW is PS4-only. We strongly suspect USF4 may be getting a PS4 version. (which could potentially become a tournament standard if there's no dropped lag/input/training stage only issues unlike the PS360 editions.) Combine that with the performance issues, and you basically have to plunk down $500 just to play Killer Instinct while still likely needing to buy the PS4 if you're interested in those other titles. That's a problem, and that's why you're going to see low attendance. Install for both consoles is going to be low right now anyway, but among the budget-limited FGC, I wouldn't expect to see the game get great attendance even once they're more widespread.

Why would we want to vote in the guy who gatekeeps for the gods? He can't win tournaments and he's not enjoyable.to watch so.....maximum unhype.

I don't disagree PS4 is better for devs ATM but I see no evidence that we expect a PS4 exclusive USF4 next gen port OR the correlation between people's interest in KI and any sort of notion of investment. The latter isn't even really possible to deduce from entrance numbers. It's way too early for anyone to be making statements about what's worth investing in anyways considering both consoles have barren [propsective] libraries and are rolling betas really.

Well the Justin match up is much different than the FChamp match up. FChamp's playstyle and his Phoenix team are both direct counters to KBR's team. Against Justin's team the match up is even, favoring KBR at the start.

But the skill gap though... Justin is too smart to be hit by Lariat or st.H.

I hope Magus still knows what's hood and isn't on some corporate shit. I liked when he seemed like the type of dude that would sleep on your couch, cook and eat your steaks, and fuck your girlfriend while you were at work.

Doesn't Wolverine mashing cr. l crush KBR's entire team? Not to mention KBR doesn't have great neutral assists (even drones are too slow) meaning Storm gets hail happy birthdays all day.
