Fuck Terraria that piece of shit. I just started the game and got greeted with a corrupt save file. I closed the game yesterday in a careful way because I didn't want to lose progress so I don't think I did anything wrong.
Of course, I didn't think of uploading the save to the cloud beforehand. So stupid that you have to activate PS+ cloud save for every fucking game manually. Just do it and add a opt out option, not the other way around.
I know I barely scratched the games content but I already had some nice gear and my town was well build.
So pissed right now. I wait ages for the port, pay full price and they still found a way to fuck me over even harder.
Edit: the last hope of saving my file through rebuilding the database didn't do anything and only killed my bubble placement...
Also, it seems like holding down the power button doesn't get you to the recovery menu anymore. Only the power, PS and R button combo does.

Just tweeted to Shahid about a half dozen or so games that I'd like to see on the Vita as well as the possibility of some PnC Adventure games making it on the Vita too, like Daedalic's games.

i believe you missed the bit where he said disk based games.
it's nice that starbound is coming to the vita, but already i know there is no chance in hell I will be getting it on the vita and miss out on the mod support.
I mean just playing custom music in the game alone is going to be awesome. let alone the fact that modders have already put in a ton of new items, new worlds, new mechanics, altered their ship ect, and we are only like a week post beta launch lol.

VitaGAF, I need your help with the account system on the Vita before buying one. I read that you can connect your Vita to your PS3 to install downloaded games, does that work regardless of the PSN account you used to buy the game? I ask because I live in Asia and our local PS Store sucks so my PS3 has one main account to play the games and a secondary US account subscribed to PS+ to buy and download them. The only way I can think of that would allow me to continue doing that on my Vita would be tying the system to my asian account and then downloading the games from my US account and installing them on the Vita via my PS3. The easy way of course would be to use the US account on the Vita but I would loose my friends list

You can only download games to the account they were bought on, even using the PS3. So you'll have to format/switch your Vita to the US account to use the PS+ games.
I need to get Spelunky today before it stops being cheap.
Never thought I'd say this but I'm starting to like the Vita as the device to play indie titles on. Hotline Miami, Spelunky, and Rogue Legacy specifically, even though I've got them all on PC. Worth double dipping for the portability.

Put simply, you can only use 1 account on your Vita.
If it's an Asia or JPN account, you can ONLY play games you have from that account.
If you're using say a JPN account, but want to play a game from US or EU PSN, you won't be able to copy it from your PS3 to your Vita.

Just to give it a try I downloaded one of the free PS+ Vita games from my US account and the game appears when I switch to my asian account with the option to install it if I connect a Vita. What would happen if I had one and tried to install it, would I just get an error message?

Yes it should, I've copied various PSX save data from PS3 to Vita and they worked fine.
Not cloud per se. U can copy the savegame wirelessly on ps3 using content manager and start playing on it and when done just transfer it back on the vita.
I play every single one of them as fullscreen lol! Make the characters a bit fat but fills the full screen.
Kinda funny in the 3DS successor thread, most just basically want a Vita.

Normal has the best image fidelity and maintains the original aspect ratio. However it has black bars both on top/bottom and the sides.
I use (default) Custom myself - it's simply Normal, stretched while maintaining the aspect ratio to fill out the black bars on the top/bottom. The ones on the sides remain though.

Hello my good Vita-bros and Vita-sis, it's been a while since my last post around here and I'm truly sorry for that. The main reason is that, with the harsh time we are living and with a bad Economy in here I can only keep on looking for some Vita titles for a low budget. While the PS+ offers have been decent, the titles I still have to play are either recent, expensive and not going to PS+ soon. Either way I managed to get Walking Dead for the Vita (replayed from my PC version it since I liked it) during the 12 Days of sales offer. My one and only/old/last purchase was Killzone on Day one and no regrets, the game is amazing.
With the Holiday season coming very soon I was thinking about getting a little something to put under the Christmas tree. It had to be affordable since that is my main concern. I also wanted something different. I can't just lost my mind and get all the Vita goodies I've been missing this year so I found the best affordable and enjoyable experience and decide to make my order from amazon.uk:
I'll be waiting for this next week and after getting it, it's going to be put under my tree. I would love to get other titles too. Persona 4, Dragon's Crown, Assassins Liberation, Rayman Legends it's pretty chep too as well Everybody's Golf and... well, see! I have so much to catch up! But I'm a humble person, so I'll keep waiting for even better deals on said games. I hope you can have a little something for the Holiday season too and wish you all the best Vita can offer to play. I use this most of the time. Although I tend to use Normal with PS1 games that are a bit more pixelated than the rest.

Your heart will be filled with so much joy when you start playing through Tearaway. It is one of my favorite games of the year and joined the long list of my favorite games ever.

I have an original copy of the game, so I can play it putting it on the PS3. They aren't in PSN, sadly. I'd totally buy the game again to play it on my Vita. Remote Play usually works pretty well with direct connection, but I wish I'd be able to play it on bed.
The game is pretty mediocre (a little grindy, some weird difficulty spikes, technical problems) but I love it. It was one of my first JRPGs if not the first. I think I played it before Pokemon Yellow / Gold and my first Final Fantasy.
IMO? Dismanagement.
At least in Spain, there was a time when Digimon and Pokemon where almost as popular among kids. I prefer Digimon (original is still awesome) to Pokemon. The difference is that the latter was managed quite good with new games, competent new series, merchandising and other stuff and Namco (or Bandai, I dunno xD) never gave it the support it needed to stay relevant.
I played the hell out of Digimon Rumble Arena (in PS1 / 2) with some friends too. It was so damn fun...
Being stuck on second tier kids channels.
Played 1 and Infinite. Skipped 2 because I didn't feel like staying in Rapture any longer. Might try out 2 in a week or so since already have it via PS+.

So close to ordering the LBP/Tearaway bundle for Christmas. So close. I'll also be picking up the Jak HD Collection. I'm aware it's a shitty port, but I've dreamed of portable Jak ever since my friend lied that the PSP could play your PS2 games off your memory card... I wasn't a particularly smart kid.
