PlayStation Mobile Thread of Indie Games, and Apps on Android/Vita

I've completed the full dungeon in Adventure Bar Labyrinth :). I did have to grab some jewels at certain points in the game because of stupid moves or just plain laziness (books of attack for example) but once I had a few maxed out swords and shields, I just had to play carefully (and rush through the last 20 floors).

My favourite game on PSM so far.
Still a password short for the website though :(

Improved convenience of creating keys.
Improved graphic performance on PlayStation®Vita.
Added new samples which use new functions and show good practices. (Scoreboard Sample, Lua Sample, etc)

Really wish you could take the touchscreen nonsense off when playing on the Vita, though. I hate having all of those elements blocking parts of the screen.

So would Chaos Rings benefit from this update? Heard it had slowdown, but if this fixes it, might check it out!

Yeah, not here either. It sucks. Particularly as it was one of the first platforms that was relatively easy for me to program on, having a strong C#.Net background myself.

Is there a post somewhere where people say the games they think are best on PSM?

I've watched some PSNStores videos but there's just so many games,a list would make it easier to decide what to buy.

Thanks for the patch, will check out the new levels. This game is a must-buy at $0.99.

Picbox doesn't show the update when I start the game, should I uninstall and download again?

Hey, PSM games don't allow you to update via the live screen, if you want it to auto update you need to leave the Vita on standby overnight.

If you want to manually update, you have to locate it on the store and redownload (but don't delete the old version or you might delete your save file - Unsure about this).

Mononoke Slashdown just got another patch. This time it's for a new chapter, Mononoke Hive, which pits you against 50 waves of punishment! O_o

Haha, I'm really loving FKDigital. Been enjoying Chaos Code, and Mononoke Slashdown is one of the best-supported PSM games I've seen yet.

Now if Squeenix was this proactive with supporting Chaos Rings, I might actually want to spend money on their un-optimized RPwannaBe...

I know the live area doesn't work on PSM, but Sakura puzzle showed an update prompt when I started the game when there was a patch, I guess is not the same for all.

But downloading from the store worked, so all is good thanks

Now get cracking on those paid packs man! :)

Alright, I bit on the picbox price. It seems pretty fun and feels like Minesweeper in a way. Next PSM game Im eyeing on is WW2: Hills of Glory. Anyone played it?

Yeah Stinky Badger...if you give me tons of 99¢ puzzle packs, I'll buy 'em all.

I deleted it and lost my save :(

But now I have 112 puzzles to play again yay!

Thank for your support :D

How does Chaos Rings perform now on Vita?

...and how's Bloodred Wyvern, which just so happens to resemble Panzer Dragoon?

Major publishers usually issue announcements if they've done patches, and there's been no sign of that in regards to CR. Either PSM really can't run the game without intense slowdown, or SE didn't want to invest in it.

As for Bloodred Wyvern, I can't say. It's another one of those games not available in Canada.

Bloodred Wyvern is more Space Harrier than Panzer Dragoon. Enemies approach and attack the same, most boss fights are clones from Space Harrier, and I think they've even stolen a few sound effects from it and pitched them differently.

But! It's pretty decent. Has eight main shooting levels and a few bonus rounds where you have to fly through rings. Takes about 20 minutes to beat. It's rather difficult though, and the frame rate often goes to hell on boss fights which leads to confusing deaths.
