PlayStation Mobile Thread of Indie Games, and Apps on Android/Vita

Yeah, it’ll be an additional 28 15x15 puzzles. Any new packs will be this size.

I included so many of the lower level puzzles as many PlayStation owners haven’t had a chance to play a nonogram game before, and almost all of them would skip the ‘How to Play’ section. At the 5x5 level it’s easy to grasp the basics through trial and error. I guess 28 might have been a little excessive.

I did have 20x20 puzzles to begin with, but on the smaller screens this proved to be almost unplayable.

So that'll be 56 puzzles for the 15x15, allright you got my money sir.

Gotta say, as someone who really loves picross games, your game's presentation and interface is really great. The only thing I need is a way to swap the input buttons since it's opposite of what I'm used to.

Edit: One suggestion, could you make the cursor, in button mode, warp on the picture limits?
In other words, if you are on top and press up, you go to the bottom. Thanks!

If you're taking suggestions, I might ask that you consider adding a 'highlight' option, where there's some sort of indicator of what row your cursor is on. Most games do it by highlighting the numbers at the end of the row, since you can sometimes misjudge which row you're actually on.

Sure thing, done. It only works with the D-Pad however, as it'd get a bit messy with the analog stick.

So, after the hype I downloaded ABL and played all the way to the 21 floor, there was no exit and I run into an unbeatable room (there were like 20 monsters on it). :( I forgot how heartbreaking these games are, don't think I'll get back to it in a while.
 
I think you can beat it with one couple in ~4-5 hours. But you need to beat it with every couple to get the full story. I looked in the old thread and someone said they finished everything at 25 hours

I think I'm getting this after completing some games. It was always one of those iOS games that I wanted to play but never had the means.

Escape Books are a bit too rare in the game, I agree there. That said, my past few runs yields about 5 or 6 of the things. I got to floor 75 before the new and improved Dragons in a monster lair forced me to leave.

If you can find one, a book of barriers is a great asset in those rooms. Make sure the square you're on is empty and then bash the monsters without moving from that exact spot. If you run into a monster lair, quickly run back out and tackle the monsters a couple of squares into the narrow corridor. That way you'll only be facing at most 2 monsters
 
Just ventured in and bought 10x8 and tried some free stuff (thought Cytus was alright). Anything recommended? I like most anything.

Also, I'd love Ziggurat on the Vita!
 
I love the gameboy style Shuttle Quest is going for but I'm not sure I want to stick with a 4:3 game on the vita, especially a horizontal shooter. I'll still give it a shot though since its free

Playstation Mobile handles in app purchases terribly. You have to be online for it to check for your IAP every time or it doesn't recognize you bought it. If you want to play you IAP on a bus on a Wifi model you are SOL. PS Mobile games should not use IAP purchases and just charge for the game in the store.

It saw that I had the full game just fine now when playing without wifi.
 
Great. Maybe they fixed this with a mobile runtime update? I know Lemmings and Everyone's Arcade had that problem.

It's down to the individual developer whether they want to store purchases internally. Penguin Party makes a note of the purchase flag for each IAP item and stores it along with the rest of the save data.
 
I haven't followed this thread at all since I am in one of those countries (Sweden) that does not have Playstation Mobile.
There are many countries where this service is not available and I am wondering if any of you here know why?
Not a single of the nordic countries for example have mobile games, but developers in Sweden (Rymdkapsel) for instance are releasing titles.

Any reason why Sony won't include more countries than today?

On the unity front it seems like some people from PlayStation will be at http://unity3d.com/unite/unite2013 so many some news about Unity on PSM then

If the graphics performance boost means that Chaos Rings doesn't suffer from slowdown, I might actually get it.

Wait, Ryan Clements is at the PS Blog now? Is he on the podcast? I need to resubscribe! He was always my favorite on beyond but I eventually stopped listening when Greg got to be too much. I got bored of the psblogcast after awhile as well

In other news I saw Adventure Bar Labyrinth has an update, I wonder if its anything major. I've been meaning to give it another shot. It seems fun but I wish at least that d-pad could be turned off
