Also got Mario 3D Land for registering.

I heard during Christmas, Sakurai did none for Brawl.
I'd like one more image of Rosalina for 3dees and I'll be happy for constant Wii U shots after.

Even his posts think Lucario is just a flavor of the generation. Yes, let us cut the only Pokemon who is not from generation 1. Might as well argue that Rosalina shouldn't be in Smash because she isn't part of the "original" characters.

Kid Icarus is a comical masterpiece, and 3D Land is super good.

Why not? I love Lucario, but who cares if its only gen 1? Like I said no one will care, the game will still be bought by Pokefans. Nothing bad will happen.

No one will care except for those people who wanted other gens getting represented. But sure go speak for them. The game will still be bought, but there will be people who will be disappointed, especially when the cut one was very unique in many ways.

Maybe keep your core Pikachu/Mewtwo (?)/Pokemon Trainer and then add in whoever the most popular new-gen Pokemon is? Is Lucario still popular? I don't think "flavor of the generation" is a bad idea so long as the actually famous characters still stick around.

That post deserves it though, since it's not name-calling as it does fit the criteria (there is a difference between preferring and liking Gen 1 vs. claiming it is the only important facet of the series).

Only Mewtwo but to unlock him you have to have 9999! hours of brawls on your save file.

I can see either Lucario or Mewtwo returning, with the final smash being their Mega-Evo forms.
Mewtwo would be a complicated one since he has two mega evolutions. Not really sure how that would work.

X version is way cooler, but that's a different discussion.
I don't think they would only give one of them the spotlight. They're supposed to be equal.
