2005- Games to look forward to

I'm going to disregard titles that have allready come out this month and look ahead to see what really is coming this year that might be worth anyones time. Why ? you may ask, I"m trying to see for myself what's coming out and I'd thought I'd share my findings with you guys.

I"m not even going to split this console by console, it'll just be a list, here goes- , feel free to add in stuff I've missed , I'll edit this post to include it.

Advance Wars DS NDS fall ?

These are the only ones that really jumped out at me that we've heard about so far , surely there are going to be some more games announced in may but for now...

again feel free to add to this list in your own posts, I'll update it as I see 'em.
 
Tenchu Fatal Shadows - February 15. I just started playing through the Japanese version (which is called Tenchu Kurenai). Really awesome stealth gameplay. This is the first time i've really enjoyed Tenchu since the original.

2005 should be a good year...Wario Ware, Zelda, DK, FF12, KH2, Dragon Quest 8, Animal Crossing, Advance Wars just to name a few. I still hold zelda at the top of the list though.

I want to play Jade Empire (I can overlook the hideos art), just so I can play a game with the supposed genius of BioWare that's not tainted by the Star Wars license, but anyways, here's some other of my picks:

DS: FF3j, Seiken Densetsu DS, FFCC DS, Vandal Hearts DS, Baten Kaitos DS, Xenosaga DS - if any of them even make it to our shores this year
GBA: Nothing much this year, this might be the last year for the little guy :(
PSP: Lumines, Gahgrev Trilogy, Wipeout Pure
PS2: DQ8, Ys 6, FFXII, Radiata Stories, Wanda

Xbox - Jade Empire, MotoGP 3, GTA: SA, Conker, and Splinter Cell 3.
PS2 - GT4, God of War, and Devil May Cry 3.
Xbox 2 (Speculation Obviously) - Madden NFL 2006, SSX 4, Elder Scrolls 4, and Perfect Dark Zero.

Yeah, I did some for Metroid 1, Super Metroid, and (beaten, not on there anymore) Zero Mission that are there.

Oh yeah, FF12..hoping it won't suck (haven't read much anything about it).

really just ibara. it's the new cave shooter. but it looks to be a spiritual successor to raizing's battle garegga, which is the best game ever, and former raizing staff are rumored to be involved. so yeah, if a port isn't quickly announced, i'm going to spend gobs of money on an arcade cab and an ibara pcb.

i'm sure there will be other games. and i'm sure some of them will be alright. but i don't at the moment care.

Yes, Nintendo is the publisher like in the case of Tales of Symphonia. It's coming out in march (no buy at the release for me, though - busy month with MGS3, GT4, DMC3 and RE4)

ah ok thanks. I just wodered because I have already finished it anyway. Great game, I actually prefer it over ToS.

anything by EA: I'm not sure I want to play games bought with blood money and made by some programmer that will complain about having to work 30 hours a day to make launch.
any sports games: step outside and play it for real
WWE trash: unless you can see them juicing up with Barry Bonds
War simulator FPS: Watch the news nobody wants to be in this war or any war, but you know they are making Medal of Honour: Bomb for Oil which is right after Battlefield 2004: Naked Iraqi Pyramid.
any MMORPG: if you have to pay $10 a month to interact with people you are a loser
anything online Pokemon: mass pedophile amber alerts to follow
