£173.91 @ Amazon
(Tomb Raider and Halo 4 are Download Codes)

They've shipped stuff mispriced before.

Amazon once shipped 3 £3.99 PS Vita games at launch just to a messed up preorder price

I got a couple of those at the time as well. I really hope they honour the Tales of Symphonia Chronicles: Collectors Edition misprice from a while back (£39.99). Even ordered a 2nd one from Flubit, just in case, but that got refunded quickly.

Seems to depend on how many take it up. Popular items that have been put up on hotukdeals? Not much of a chance but otherwise they might honour it.

They've never had that as far as I know, except for during sales, such as the intro sale they had when they started and the recent Winter sale.

When they launched the store a couple of months ago it definitely rotated through deals every 24 hours. There was a timer on the page which isn't there anymore so I suppose that's a relic of the past now.

Yeah, that's what I said, they had a sale when they started.

...oh yeah, so you did! I didn't realise it was a limited time thing.

Well, switching subjects. My launch PS3 finally succumbed to the YLOD and I need a replacement. Anybody know of any good deals at the moment? I'll be putting my current HDD into it so no need for one with a large drive.

Amazon has a 12GB Super Slim with Lego Marvel Super Heroes for £134.99. You can always sell the Lego Marvel to make a little bit of that back. ShopTo have the 12GB on it's own for £129.85, but the money you'll get from selling/trading Lego Marvel will make the Amazon deal cheaper.

I'm looking for a second controller for PS4 and a charging stand.
Where are they cheapest, Amazon?
What charging stand do you recommend? The official?
Must be deliverable to Sweden.

For those that missed out on the £25 deal for FFX HD Limited Edition at Amazon (and of course those that missed the code and 1p SIM card trick to get it for £20), Zavvi and The Hut have the Limited Edition up for £27.99.

With a code, you may get it for a bit less (if you get a code that works on pre-orders etc).

FFX / X-2 HD Limited Edition PS3 £27.99 at Zavvi
FFX / X-2 HD Limited Edition PS3 £27.99 at The Hut
I want this...but The Hut vs Zavvi is a 'pick your poison' decision.

Too early for any deals on Bravely Default? Would like to pick it up now that Zelda is done and dusted.

Adding to the above prices, GameCollection seems to have it for slightly cheaper at £30.95. Not gonna get it for much less for a while really. We all know how 3DS games hold their value. I'd say if you really want it, get it. It's a great game.

Don't forget to pick up an HDD caddy for the superslim though, because Sony cheaped out on a really petty fucking way on it.

The Legend of Zelda Box Set 1-10 Manga Set (Paperback) - £29.89 @ Amazon

Damnit, I really want but... I wonder if it'll come down to £20. I bought the FF Amano Art Collection after it hit £40 after being about £60 or £70 for so long...then about a month ago it went down to £20-something. You can never tell with these things, whereas with games you have a good idea of what price they'll come down to over time.

Ok, this is probably a silly question but I've never used an Amazon gift card before. I got one as a late Christmas present and have applied the credit to my account. Now, I have FFX/X-2 HD Limited Edition as well as Thor: The Dark World Blu Ray pre-ordered using that previous £5 off orders of £25 and over code. When the first item ships will it use the credit (charging me anything outstanding) or will it ignore the credit?

I don't even know if this is the right topic for such a question to be honest, but I looked on Google for answers and my results were regarding Amazon US.

On a more on-topic related note, anyone know of any good deals for Dynasty Warriors 8 on PS3 at all?

It'll use credit if it was on the account at the time the preorder was placed otherwise it uses your normal payment pethod. Maybe you can change payment method on the order page?

I hit the HMV Oxford Street clearance sale last Friday - £200 worth of gear for £65!

60% off most gaming things.
That increases to 80% this Thursday.

So: worth going!

Go to the preorder and on the details you should be able to choose to use credit at the bottom.

Cheapest place currently for BF4 on PS3/PS4?

To be honest, I would hold of a bit longer. Even if you can find it at a "discount", the game as it is right now is far from worth it.
By the time it's actually somewhat decent to play (maybe 6 months time if we're lucky) it'll be a lot cheaper.

You know what's funny? I have it on PS4 (PS3 upgrade) and I have had absolutely no issues.

Admittedly I haven't played it more than ACIV, Lego Marvel, Fifa or Killzone but even still I've played a fair few games (only conquest, mind).

My friends who I live with have an Xbox One each and have had constant issues though, perhaps I just don't play it enough and have been extremely lucky.

The PS3 version comes with a Vita code or something? I can't find a PSVita version anywhere and the only bundle available is the PS3 Limited Edition.

Another 15% Zavvi code here (quote).

Those assholes are ignoring my emails where I demand a refund they promised for shipping an item back to them. Small amount of money, but god what an awful shop.

Thanks for the warning, though I did notice that from looking at the items people bought with the console on Amazon. Stingy bastards, especially lame that the caddy used on my fat PS3 won't fit.
