Tweaking up rooms to eventually post here!

I'm in need of picture frames or posters. Anyone know good places online I can buy them videogame related and non-game related?

Preferably UK but will buy internationally if I have to.

Alright, here's some pictures of my last basement...

Hate to quote all these pics.. (and I have said this to you before)... but I love that Man. U. on the wall. I want one BAD!!!!

As a recent home owner of a house built in 1952, I think I am more jelly of people's basements sans the setups than with them. Man, look how pristine those joists and sills are! Haha. Love the Man U room. Great stuff.

My parent's Victorian house (1822, John Nash) is stunningly well built. My place was built in the mid 1990s and it's nice and modern but I stiller prefer that Victorian build quality.

Serious question for the folks who have their consoles on a desk connected to a computer monitor:

What is the draw of that type of setup? I guess it seems counter-intuitive to me as I've always seen consoles as a couch/living room experience.

Is space an issue? Do you prefer a 'lean forward' instead of a 'lean back' experience?

If you've got a nice office chair, the "lean back"/"comfy couch" experience is easily achieved.

I want that room because I'm from the USA and am a red devil fan!

I prefer to sit closer to my TV/monitor. Even if the TV is huge I still don't like sitting far away. Also I have a comfy chair, the response time of monitors is far better than that of TVs, and I can use a wired internet connection this way as opposed to wireless. I have a desktop next to the monitor I play console games on as well. It's really nice having access to it in between matches, etc.

Some more elaborate pics for 2014

Looks like a comfy setup, but must be hard to walk around, unless theres a ton of space by the foot of your bed? Do you have a PC connected to your tv?

Tabris and Chittachong setups are always good inspiration, but I like a lot of the setups in here!

It's definitely very "comfy". I'm basically using every inch of the space I can before it starts to get way too cramped. The foot of the bed has plenty of space to get dressed and whatnot. Between the couch and the bed there's about half a metre so enough leg room too.

A few updates for 2014.

Thank you. This is now my target setup for a possible attic conversion during the year! Looks fantastic
thanks! it's just the low Billy bookcases, each one with an additional shelf. the Lowboard for the TV is a Lack, sans feet but with felt pads underneath. I advise to get additional enforcement columns for larger screen sizes, though.

Asked before but probably got buried in the thread, does anyone know of any good sites to get some quality gaming art/murals?

Well good this gives me a reason to clean up the man cave and post some pics. I have a pool table and a couple consoles down there along with all my Reds stuff. I won't be showing a pic of the gaming pc in the office it's a real cluttered area but functionally cluttered for me. I'll post pics sometime this weekend sure not going to win any setup awards. I will enjoy looking at pics to get some ideas on a new entertainment stand the old and big wood one gots to go.

just got another shelf & stuff organized with a buddy's help last night, my own classic game room is coming together nicely!

Love the setup. Just wish the pics were higher quality :) But one of my favorite set ups so far.

No friends with a nice DSLR? You could get this in retro mags.

Or DVD Profiler, which works just as well and looks better on iOS devices IMHO.

In the playstore My Movies Pro has a much better rating than DVD Profiler. What I like about My Movies Pro is that you can send a massage inside the app if a movie is not listed. After a few hours it's listed. I never had this situation but my brother had. It was a very rare movie. I also like the filtering options and the possibility to set a status who has borrowed a movie and a reminder when you want it back.

By the way... I didn't realize that you are from Germany too :)

You have similar taste to me when it comes to movies.

What about music?

Love that tube amp.

And Steam shots of course, no need to skimp on audio and settle for garbage headsets on the PC side.

Yeah, it's a shame so many people think they have to buy gaming headsets for their PC.

Why do some people want to see every dvd/game they own? It looks so messy!

I only show the films I really like. The rest (i.e more embarrassing) are in the closet.

Awesome room! I really Like the sega and playstation 2 signs( the ps2 sign lights up right?)

thanks man, and yeah it totally does!

yeah, i was thinking i'm gonna get a better camera than my old phone so actual titles can be seen too, that's a good call.

to me, a gaming room is about accessibility - whats the point if people can't see what their options are? like, why would people buy/keep titles for so long, only to hide them? It looks so neurotic!

Where are you hiding your audio setup? I find it hard to believe that such an obvious movie maniac misses out on a huge part of the whole experience. I'm not even talking about an expansive 7.2 setup, a simple 2.0 bookshelf system would be a major improvement.
