anyone live near the oxford hmv? i've heard they had copies of dragons crown on vita for £4 i can pay that plus postage, one near me is still open
 
I preordered Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze for about 35 EUR on Zavvi using one of those 15% coupons they sent out recently. Seems a fair deal. Very hyped for the game :)

I doubt they ever had any, anyway yesterday the only vita stuff they had was mostly LBP, couple of lego games and uncharted...

Didn't see it myself. Too many people and the rest of the stuff was junk in my eyes. They have LBP Vita in limited supply though.

And when I say "limited" I mean tons.
 
Pop into my local big Tesco today and got Dead Island Riptide (360) for £3.75. I think the PS3 version is the is the same price can't remember, and they had Red dead redemption game of the year edition for £1.50

There are a lot of posts on hotukdeals about games being 75% off the 'sale' price and the same for blurays so lots of 360 and PS3 Wii-U and 3DS titles are down to about £2 or £3 if you can find them

Great offer, very tempted to bite even though I have it ordered for £30 with Gamestop UK. Only not sure I will because they charge straight away which is annoying

I will probably only play Resogun and Don't Starve til March - which is what is holding me back. Although, I don't think I will get that price again by March.

Excellent. £20 would be ideal but eh, prefer having it boxed. Hopefully this thing won't make people regret buying it... never felt so unsure about a MGS game (or demo) in my life.

If you get this bundle for less than £15 or any of the games dead cheap definitely pick it up, otherwise if you have a Xbox One just get Dead Rising 3.

As Game Informer people said in a podcast I believe Dead Rising 3 is " easier to have fun "

FYI The Tesco games offers are mainly cleared out in the 2 I checked tonight but i still managed to get Grid 2 for £3.75 (360) and Gears Judgement for the same price - I also picked up quite a few blu-rays as those were all 75% off as well - so things like Disneys Brave for £2.50 or Oz the great and powerful for the same , and Prometheus special edition for £3.50 (I had read that Wreck it Ralph was down to £3.50 but there were none in either of my local stores)

If you go in its worth grabbing one of the hand scanners (scan your clubcard and enter your postcode if you've never used them before) and you can just scan stuff to check and see the real price - just about everything that has one of the big yellow 'price' stickers on it is reduced (but stuff in the charts etc are still at full price - next to Gears were copies of X-Com which scanned at £27!)

I need a party game I think, I own Nintendoland but I hear (haven't played it yet) that it's too difficult for non-gamers like family and such. Dunno which one to choose since I already have like 5 remotes, 2 w/ the m+ attachment and one's a proper Remote plus. All in all Wii Party U would cost €10 since Remotes+ alone go for €25... I just don't want another black one, I would have jumped on the blue one.


What do you guys suggest, which game is better and meatier to play with family?
I enjoyed a lot both Wario Wares on GBA, quite a bit of the Wii one even going at it solo. The DS games, not so much. Never played Wii Party on Wii, is there a mod akin to snakes&ladders or the Game of Goose, with the players rolling dices amd going from beginning to the end on a board or something?

You definitely don't need to sell Lego Marvel, it's such a fun game
 
For people interested in Dark Souls Design Works (the artbook of the game), just a heads up: it seems that after quite a couple of delays, Amazon UK is finally about to ship them. (My order dates back to July 16th 2013.) So I guess they will be in stock (or almost in the warehouse or whatever) too elsewhere.

Amazon currently have 4 copies left up for order, at £22 a piece.

Currently the estimated dispatch date is January 13th (2014. ;-)), so next Monday.

Ordered mine off Amazon 3 or 4 day ago. Got it today. Didn't think it was out for a while actually! Got my Bayonetta one too (Japanese packaging was better for that).
 
Seeing that Amazon have put the price of the Tearaway Vita bundle up, where's the next best place to get one? Tearaway is a download code as well right?
 
Always does that, the issue is they're getting stock from America.

Honestly I generally just pre-order the artbooks directly from Amazon.com. In most cases it even works out slightly cheaper.

I already own Wii Party U and yeah, there are like 4-5 different modes which require you to roll dices to progress and minigames are used to choose who can roll the most dices. I already have ~40 hours on the activity log and tried every minigame. It's a good party game, just don't overuse it like I did because it gets old kinda fast (all my friends tried every minigame, I hate rolling dices because I'm mr. unlucky and they hate me because I win every minigame)

Yeah it is quite strange. I only pre-ordered thinking "It's UDON. It'll be out in a years time" and then I get the shipped e-mail! Wasn't as thick a book as I thought it would. One of their thinner books yet I think (not sure how big the Persona or Basara books were though). Waiting for Dragon's Dogma now.

Persona 3 and Shigenori Soejima Design Works are both around 150 pages, Persona 4 is closer to 200. Valkyria Chronicles ones are the biggest I own. I think the first one is around 400 pages!
