Will there ever be anything better than the Butt Fumble?

Hell I'm a Jets fan and this is probably one of the best plays ever in history. It's so good, that ESPN had to retire it on their Not Top 10 because it was deemed unbeatable. There have been some good ones in recent memory, like the 2 Gator players blocking each other. It has to probably go down as the greatest (bad) play ever.

This poster pulses with an appeal so broad the typical restraints of our societies fall by the wayside.
The fact that it's the Jets (who else?), Sanchez, it was on national television on Thanksgiving night in front of a gazillion people, etc. — all are contributing factors to making it one of the best things ever.

For me, this would be a runner-up to consider:

Manny Ramirez cuts off Johnny Damon

I think this was 2004, maybe 2005. The Sox booth guys were absolutely dying... I wish I could find a version with sound.

The pass to Jacoby Jones in the 4th quarter of Broncos/Ravens last year that tied the game is the worst prevent defense play I've ever seen.

The defender watches the ball all the way down the field, then makes an awful read and misses it by almost 5 yards. Even if he'd simply grabbed the receiver and threw him to the ground, it would have been a smarter play.

Manny did it on instinct because of Damon's shitty arm.

Carmelo Anthony is knocked unconscious. His teammate, the legendary JR Smith, instead of calling a time out to let medics check on his teammate, proceeds to get his fuckball on.

Looking for a good gif of Sanchez flinching, getting tossed like a rag doll, and a penalty called on him on the same play.

im sitting here laughing like an idiot, and the closeup on melo just seals the deal

It will be tough. The phrase 'butt fumble' itself is just funny. It sounds funny. It starts with 'butt' . . . your ass. And it ends with fumble . . . a funny-sounding word for dropping something clumsily. How can you beat 'butt fumble'? I don't know.

The video in the OP fucking got me good. I expected it to just be a video of two dudes running into each other... but that? Jesus, LMAO.

Wow. How is that ruled? Is it a home-run or a ground-rule double? I guess a home run?

Yup, home run.
Similar sorts of things have happened a couple of times (say a fielder getting a ball in his glove in the field of play, but then impact with the wall jarring it loose over the wall), although nothing quite so dramatic.

Basically, the ball went over the wall without touching the ground, so it's a home run.

I started watching that gif half way through and saw him on the floor. Watched it again to see the point of impact but instead he comes into view just laying there. Almost spit out my tea.

That's just Manny being Manny. He's known for doing peculiar things. I think what makes me laugh so hard at this is that he had to dive to cut it off.
