Yards record is impressive, but the TD record is what is actual most impressive and will likely have some legs in terms of holding up. At least while we still have 16 game seasons.

The stats are a nice touch on a great season, but there is and has been only one goal for this season. Ever since the loss to Baltimore last year, the focus has been laser sharp. Let's hope that it continues.

4,343 yards, 60.5% completion, 25 TD, 11 INT, 12 wins and a first-round bye playing with a banged up defense, banged up offensive line, 7th round QB as his #1 WR and a bunch of rookies. Oh, yeah and he led that historic comeback against Manning's Broncos.You call that utter shit?

The TD record and yards record will be broken in a few years.

The league protects the receivers more and more every year making it easier it make subpar QBs like Flacco wealthy men.
 
Peyton is definitely a top 5 QB of all time. But I can't put him at number one because he only has 1 super bowl ring and his playoff record is garbage. And his one super bowl victory came against Rex grossman lol he later choked when he went up against drew brees and lost to the saints after a pick 6.

Most of the yards and touchdowns he has came against regular season scrubs. The truth is peyton manning tends to choke when it comes to the playoffs. Numbers and records are great but rings are better. He would need to win at least 2 more superbowls before I put him atop. Until than Montana and Brady are better.

We better have 16 game seasons forever. It's scary to think Slay, but this league that puts out this fake image of player safety actually wants to increase the season to 18 games? This is the most physically demanding sport in the world and you want to increase it by 2 games? Fucking :JNC

All the players know its a joke but of course money rules so there will be a huge fight between the players and ownership over the 18 game season.

The players should win though IMO.

So, what if Mannin Throws for 320 YD, 2TD no INT, But the Pats win the game reliying heavily on Rushing and not passing, like they won agains the Colts, would that really answer the question?

If only we had the technology to put the 2012 or 2007 pats against the 2013 broncos.

These comparisons are fun to do, but its incredibly hard to compare athletes in such a team oriented game like football

It was a terrific game by Manning, but it's at least a couple of weeks too early to call him the GOAT. He's already well ahead of Eli. Rings are very important, but if you go purely by rings, Dan Marino is tied for the worst QB in the history of the league and can't even compare to guys like Trent Dilfer. It should be a great SB no matter who they play from the NFC.

Pats defense still needs work. After Talib went down, again, they had no answer for the Denver passing game. It'll be interesting to see what they do in FA and the draft because they desperately need some more weapons for Brady, and the defense needs to some help too.

Manning and Brady match-up often when one has a good team and the other doesn't. I'm of the opinion that Manning does better with worse tools than Brady does with bad tools. Regardless, another year where the pats lose, another year I can stay happy.

Those AFC championship games are the ones to get to the Superbowl, they are the biggest games the can play against each other. Face it Brady chokes against Manning when the pressure is on.
