Back in the old community thread I remember someone did mention air dashes when we were randomly thinking of new mechanics lol.

I think it would be fine if it worked like KoF. Something simple yet adds a new wrinkle. I never thought of how it would work in time only matches. I guess it should work the same where there's a rotation. And yea loading the models may be a problem so I don't think assist would be possible since they would have to spawn out of thin air. Unlike in marvel where they come from the said of the screen.

Had to have been, going off some of the fan screenshots he personally chose to show off on Brawl's japanese site. The English sites by comparison were handled by Nintendo of America.

The reason we can't have nice things is people looking at the undergarments, I just don't like big splotches of black that are quite noticeable during certain animations whether you're manipulating the camera or not.

Look, how about this: It's Rosalina's dress that's just dark on the inside. And here's my proof. Look at this shot of Rosalina jumping:

As you can see, the blackness starts right at the bottom of the skirt's insides.

For comparison, have a few images of Peach:

Obviously, the insides of Peach's skirt are not blacked out.

They do a spawn and then have a unique exist animation, kind of like how the assists spawn in jump ultimate stars. But unlike those each character would have unique exists. Though that seems like a lot of work, however characters appearing and dissapearing with flashes of light as assists wouldn't really be a bad thing. No one would question it really.

Okay, but blacked out or not, we've yet to see past her ankles. She could easily have a later starting blacking out underneath her, similar to Toon Link. Maybe, maybe not.

Either way, Palutena seems to be a bit revealing compared to the skirt/dress wearing characters that are confirmed. Her skin visibility goes all the way up to her hip, and last time I checked, the bazinga was located south of the hip.

Ah I never knew that. And you're probably right it wouldn'tbe an issue but yea it would be a lot of work for an extra mode. Imagine if 4 players each called for an assist that could in theory take damage also. It would still be a nice extra feature though.

They blacked out the inside of Rosalina's dress, not necessarily her legs. And for all we know, they could have done that because they just wanted as opposed to censorship.

And why would they redesign her when she looked like that in a very recent game? They would be missing the point of Smash Bros.

I can't really think of any that would add interesting effects.

Honedge/Doublade could fly around slashing (sort of like that DKC2 boss), which could be fun. Hawlucha dropping some lucha moves on an enemy could be fun. Spritzee/Aromatisse releasing a cloud of confusing/sleep-causing/??? pink gas.

Ooh, a rideable Gogoat, maybe - THAT would be cool. Maybe more effort than it's worth, though.
