I'm ok with this. Let them be wrong. Regardless, it's a win/win scenario for team fake. If real, then Palutena's in the game, pretty cool. If fake, then we were right (and very possibly Palu is in regardless).

I think whole team is silly because some people wouldn't find my suggestion fair but is it okay for people to claim that they adjusted or fixed the models when the answer have been revealed.
If people want to take it serious then they should attest to the first two leak pictures, and if there is any changes with the model, then they should accept the losses.

How could it be a loss if the pictures turn out to be obviously real? That's the bottom line.
If it is fake it is really well done. I mean you have the fact that the model looks a bit lifeless compared to the other models (which could be attributed to being still in development which is why Sakurai hasn't shown it), only the sky being in the background (which could be argued is something the leaker didn't even think about when taking the photos) and the clouds looking like they are just painted it (which I said takes quite a few assumption into account even though I feel they are strong assumptions).
But too be fair, after so many fakes being called out is it really surprising that someone actually learnt from those previous mistakes and corrected them in order to make their fake not so obvious?
Palutena being in the final game doesn't prove the pictures were real, just a good guess. The models would have to be exactly the same for us to ever be certain.

He's arguing that if the nose is a little shorter or something in the end then that's proof these were fake, even if everything else is the same. That's absurd. It's not going to be difficult to tell if they were working off the same concept art or not.
I guess you can't read.
Eh. You'd have things like the staff (didn't you all say it was closer to the Brawl model than Uprising one) and her stretched out arm pose to compare to. But honestly I'm sure one can tell a slightly fixed model from a completely different model.
Time will tell any who.

1. I don't use the outer outline "within" the sprite almost ever. The hand going over his body would have a lighter (possibly blue-ish) outline.
2. there's a bit of dirt on the back hand in the shadows. the dark yellow clashes with the blue. I'd outline it a bit or remove it entirely. Also: the darkest shade of blue you use is very dark, is that one of my palettes or your own?
3. The lightened outline at the top of the tongue scarf is lighter than I would've done.
4. The top part of his front facing leg is veeerrry straight and unorganic looking.

I think the only models that will go through significant design changes, if any, will be Wii U models considering that it is an HD system.
The 3DS models, for the most part, are probably remaining the same.
If Palutena is in, we will almost instantly be able to tell if the leak was real or not. She's either going to look the same, or similar, or she is going to look completely different.
Face/Hair/Dress tweaks won't be able to give it away, but the Weapons, Proportions, and such will.

If Noxus, Ridley or Higgs don't make it in, Kalos Trainer with Greninja is an acceptable substitute. Chespin / Braixen / Greninja seems like an absolutely perfect combo, too.

I think it's real but her face does make me wonder why it's like that, when there are plenty of other models with different faces and her visage should be established at this point when being brought to smash as a playable.

Well, we have ideas, but obviously no confirmation.
Most fakes are torn apart in an hour at most.
Sakurai mentioned that the models have slightly exaggerated heads on the 3DS version to make them more visible from a distance on the small screen. That attention to detail is another reason I think this is real.

I didn't consider the size of the heads being different on the 3DS but that makes sense. However.. I am talking about how her face looks 'off'. Especially her nose. I also get that it could be fixed but my question is why is it so janky in the first place?
Could just be bad modeling?
Look at the terrible nose on Link in the Wii U game. It's disgustingly bad. Infact, his whole face is.

IMO yes. to be able to last this long in a community that can dissect almost every bit of info is impressive. Only time will tell though.. iirc Pokemon had some blurry leaks but that was closer to the release.
I like how Palutena's face looks in this shot. It's a pretty faithful recreation of her Uprising art. I'm just going to chalk the other one up to it being a bad off-screen photograph.

I just can't come to a conclusion on the picture due to a lack of precedent on both sides. It's either a fake of unprecedented quality, or a leak, the likes of which is unprecedented to Nintendo and the Smash Bros series.
For that reason I really can't lean one way or another. Both sides seem almost unbelievable. This picture really shouldn't exist either way, and that's what's so great about it.

Yeah, now that I look again, that shot is really good, though rough. Probably over exaggerated the condition of the models face or projected the nose issue onto the better one.
I feel like most of the female models have had moderately realistic hair physics. The Palutena in that shot has hers somewhat stuck in an unnaturally static position. That, to me, could be a flag, but it's questionable.
