Yeah, even if you don't like Nadal, you can't tell me that MTO was tatical and he isn't carrying some injury. This looks really, really bleak and I know that he won't want to retire in a slam final, but what can you do?

So do you guys think he's really hurt or what? Does Nadal have a history of "injuries?" Is this kind of back injury common in tennis?

Damn shame. Stan would have won this match with a healthy nadal the way hes playing. Hope history remembers that.

Hope the media presents it that way. That's what's gonna determine how history remembers it.

We'll see.

Stan was absolutely dominant that first set, deserves to win.

No, he's really hurt. Nadal's straight-back serving, which means things are bad.

Nadal has a history of going into injury timeouts, coming back and running around like a rabbit. This isn't that.

Nadal clearly faking it. Right guys?

The fools said the same thing last years AO when Serena had injury timeout against Sloane.

"Just a tool. Serena will win because no injury."

Followed by Serena getting wrecked.

Whenever a top player takes an injury timeout while losing Gaf calls it fake.

You can't blame us, taking MTOs at critical junctures is not uncommon and Nadal especially has a bit of a history for it. That said, this one is definitely real. Whe he's serving it just looks painful.

I hope Wawa plays really softly just to have some equal footing, give Nadal time to loosen and warm back up, then still win!
