Lmao last weeks preview literally showed the final shot of the next episode. Geez guys.

Anyway, great episode. This show is really great when it comes to characters. When shit hits the fan its gonna be sweet.

Just a reminder that True Detective is off next week because of the Super Bowl. Also, please remember to spoiler tag any and all promo discussion. Thank you.

Once again the last 2 minutes of the show are super tense, I am really enjoying this great slow burn. I think Marty might be more fucked up than rust at this point.

Rust is like a genius. I want him to filet the two cops interviewing him and then serve them to Hannibal. I think at that point, TV can stop.

Was that last track going into the credits part of the original score or something licensed? Damned good.

I love Rust, shitting on everything with bitter, real truth.

So, on tape, you have Rust, a deranged alcoholic and Marty, a dillusional, pathological liar. These guys are covering something up.
the previews point to this. It seems like Rust is persuading Marty into conducting some shady shit. They botched that case.

Again, great fucking episode.

Well he did win best actor the night this premiered. That isnt a coincidence. All according to keikaku

:O OHH shit I forgot about that movie... is it out on BB yet ..

good for him <3 I watched MUD a few mouths ago and thought he was awesome... damn fine actor. Really glad he's in Nolan new film
Each season of this anthology drama tells a new story with a new cast, but McConaughey and Harrelson are so good, you immediately begin grieving the prospect of getting only eight episodes with them.

:*(

Nolan movie is going to come at a fairly immaculate time for him. The timing couldnt be better really.

By the way, the gardener at the closed school was George Remus, was it not?
Not that he's some name or anything, but he's got a medium part on Boardwalk Empire, did HBO bring him in for 3 lines and a funny beard?

fuck Marty for cheating on Michelle Monaghan :p

I believe Boardwalk Empire could learn a little bit about how to keep people interested while doing a slow burn. This show is really great in that way.

You guys think that Matthew McConaughey has a chance of getting an Emmy nom for his work here? Man is absolutely phenomenal.

Boardwalk empire does what they do just fine.
I'm not bothered by what Boardwalk Empire does, but I believe that this show will do a better job of keeping people interested. They both have extended story arcs that require you to pay attention intensely for a long time. But, truly, I enjoy watching the characters more in this show.

IMDB would suggest he's in two more episodes.

Knowing the Emmys, he's probably a lock for the win, assuming HBO submits the show for miniseries.
