I don't trust the WWE to book the breaking of the streak in anyway that does justice to Taker and to whoever break it.
Too many things can go wrong in booking that angle, and could end up back firing to hell and back.

WWE's pretty good these days. Some great matches and a good standard up and down the card. Unfortunately they seem to struggle with the final third of their promising main event storylines when they're required to break the status quo.Who the hell told you that? Nobody on WrassleGAF with any sense would have said that to you with a straight face and meant it.
That's like the equivalent of someone in AnimeGAF saying, "Hey, go watch some School Days. It's a zany romantic comedy with winning characters. You'll love it."
This is true... However I just don't see a way to book this match were it would elevate Bryan any higher.
The Streak and Taker have taken a life of their own, and this is just something that should not be fucking touched. It is a fucking gamble to have Bryan break it.

I wouldn't really argue against that. But at the same time, If "Taker wants to be done, he really comes off as the guy who would want to put someone over in that final match, not necessarily go out with an unbroken streak. Who else do you think he would want to put over? Who else could he even put over?
Hell they could book the match and have someone else beat the streak and right now the fans would probably go apeshit that it WASN'T Bryan. You could have a heel do it, but whats the point? It doesn't push the brand farther.

That wouldn't work!well this is a simple fix, just give Taker the title.
im kidding calm down
The sad part is Mick Foley is basically JR to his Vince McMahon.
So look forward to years of Triple H burying any of Foleys accomplishments and any mention of Mick "making" triple H.
But at the same time its your golden ticket, its your Bret Hart sharpshooter with blood coming down your face moment for someone.
DBry is already made, the guy is at Austin Levels of hot. He doesn't need the massive rub.
Its close to bait and switch, when you have the poster like this.

Notice no Cena, Orton, Lesnar or Big Show... Hmm oh look Daniel Bryan
Fuck bait and switch, this is straight up false advertisement.
Why wouldn't breaking the streak be bigger? Hasn't the streak been going on for something like 20 years? And can only happen once unless 'Taker happens to be Jesus and doesn't ever die or something?
That is a once in a PROMOTION'S HISTORY event. How many times have people left with the belt at WM? 29, right?

Lol at the guy who called it being Reigns/Batista as the final two like halfway through
Anyways, yeah, I rigged the Rumble so I could win my Pool.
DEAL WITH IT
It also makes no sense.
I think the main thing you're missing is that Daniel Bryan's reactions aren't exactly solely cheers for Daniel Bryan, but cheers against the same old shit taking up the main focus for over 10 years now. The only payoff that makes sense is for him is to cleanly beat someone in that main focus.
Seeing that Del Rio was trash talking Batista before the event it could have come down to those two.If Batista was going to win, which everyone knew then everyone also knew it would be a heel against him at the end.
The only heel that has been pushed enough that was in the rumble was Reigns.
Reigns was pushed through the entire fued with Punk for this.
I have never understood why people think that they made some kind of Kreskin like insight with things like this.
Am I the only person here that doesn't see the big deal about Daniel Bryan?
There is no savior for this product. It takes multiple Daniel Bryans and an interest in setting up decent wrestling matches to have a good product for jaded ass smarks like myself. One wrestler isn't doing anything with the way WWE operates.
Lance Storm is not the man to be leading a revolution. He thinks most things suck.Yeah, he's doing god's work. Lots of smart in his head-thing.
So in other words, No one? Because there isn't anyone else in the WWE right now that, i guess deserves is the right word but not all at the same time.
'Taker won't be around forever. You can't put someone like Reigns in there with him, it's too early. But at the same time I don't want to see Reigns/Ambrose for the next year, either.

Funny you say this because "Austin Hot" was when Austin was in a main event program against the owner of the company AND either had the title or was chasing the title for years.
D.Bry is hot (not Austin Hot) without ANY of that.
Seeing that Del Rio was trash talking Batista before the event it could have come down to those two.

Speaking of me being out of wrestling for 10 years, can someone explain something to me? When did every other belt/division besides the Big Belt stop mattering? Someone posted some vignettes of a coked out Ultimate Warrior puling some promo's, and a lot of them were for the IC title.
Whatever happened to working up the title ranks? I mean you'd have 4-6 people gunning for this title, and people gunning for that title, and after they won their popularity would go up and we would see them wrestling towards a bigger belt.
Now it just seems like it is all or nothing. Look at Big E and the IC title. He pops in and wins over Axel, and that's it. Who's next? Where are all the up and coming stars looking for that belt, or the stupid belt Ambrose has? Logical step after the rumble is Reigns taking that title and continuing to grow in popularity. But that won't actually happen. They will try to push Reigns to the top with no middle.
I just don't understand. In the old days (yeah i know), there was storyline and build up for each division/belt. Now it seems like nothing. Even the Tag Team division just seems boring right now, there isn't enough out there.

Kinda confused on the point you're trying to make
How are you a smark and not a D-Bry fan.Am I the only person here that doesn't see the big deal about Daniel Bryan?

I wish it had been someone who kinda sucked if it couldn't be Bryan. I felt sorry for Rey. He looked like a baked potato wrapped in foil and ready for the oven but he's cool.I felt bad for the crowd when Rey came out, I don't think I've ever seen such pure disappointment and frustration when Bryan failed to come out.
If any of you think after this that D-Bry is beating the streak, you need your head examined.
