Nah, they should be happy that Rusev, a man who put on one of the most tedious matches in NXT history took their spot. Fuck you Big Cass/Enzo/Aiden for having hugely entertaining segments, fuck you Breeze for carrying a fued against Parker, fuck you Zayn/Nevil/Bo for carrying the show. It still seems to me that "big" talentless fucks get president over people who are telented in any regard when it comes to wrestling. I'm not sure I want to keep on watching this shit any more.

I haven't watched NXT much, but I have seen Rusev there. I honestly liked what little they did with him in the Rumble. Personally I'm not a fan of the big guy type wrestlers though. But it does make you wonder why they would pull another big guy from NXT right after pulling Big E.

Oh wait, didn't someone say HHH prefers bigger wrestlers over smaller sized types?

I hope to god that the Cleveland fans treat everyone involved in this decision like LeBron did in his return. Boo them out of the building, chant nonsense during their matches, and a whole lot of yes chants.

I was gonna say I hope WWE gets a Raw like the one after WM28, but they really don't deserve a crowd that hot after the fucking mess that was the Rumble ending. How are Cleveland crowds? I hope they fucking slaughter everything.

The only plus to this entire thing is if we get Douchetista Round 2.

knowing WWE they'll deflect it by tagging Cena with bryan or some shit dumb like that

I'm about an hour away from Cleveland. Wish I had tickets, I'd carry the GAF torch. Last live event i went to was when ECW/WCW moved over for the first time.

I honestly think what they're doing with Byran is a work at this point. His tweets after the Rumble are pretty obvious.

Pretty obvious given the dumb hashtag. Expect it all over Raw tomorrow night.

you guys need to just accept that this isn't a "work" and they legitimately don't give a fuck about Bryan or the fans.

7 months ago it was "don't worry guys! it's all part of the plan!"

No. Just no. See, posts like this is why the IWC is considered a joke. Ya' who's the actual 21st century Hulk Hogan? John Cena.

I'm pretty sure he means Hulk Hogan circa 1981-1983 (when he was in the AWA):

After filming his scene for Rocky III against the elder McMahon's wishes, Hogan made his debut in the American Wrestling Association, owned by Verne Gagne. Hogan started his AWA run as a heel, taking on "Luscious" Johnny Valiant as his manager. This didn't last for long as the AWA fans fell in love with Hogan's presence and Hogan became the top face of the AWA, battling the Heenan Family and Nick Bockwinkel for the AWA championship to many "Dusty Finishes" teasing the fans for an obviously deserved and fan demanded title run as the peoples champion. But behind the scenes Gagne placed demands on Bollea before handing the AWA title over to him. Hogan, unwilling to give up his life as a bachelor and marry Gagne's daughter for the world title of the AWA, continued to turn down the belt. Hulk's AWA popularity and HULKAMANIA pushed him to the top of the USA wrestling scene, and even, the worldwide scene of wrestling, and Hogan was an obvious star.

Really, if DB left the WWE right now, showed up on TNA, quickly picked up their World Heavyweight title, and got fed heel after heel for a decade or two I get the feeling he'd keep his popularity. Cena, on the other hand, has nothing on either man in terms of crowd support.

I think Rusev did great in the rumble. It doesn't change the fact he's sucked shit on NXT for as long as I can remember, he didn't deserve the opportunity.

It's hilarious how New Age Outlaws are being criticized for winning the tag team belts.

My guess is:

A) They are setting NAO up to lose the titles before/or at Wrestlemania to a more deserving tag team.

B) They want the NAO to have one last tag team run before they are inducted into the hall of fame in the near/distant future.

Can we talk about how great Bray Wyatt looked tonight? Dude kept up with Bryan the whole match and had a great match. All the people saying Bray sucked looked like total shit heads tonight, because that was the best WWE match since August of last year. Dude knows how to wrestle, but more importantly, knows how to wrestle in character, which no one in WWE does anymore. Sure, Kane was in shape. Sure, Bryan was super over. But Bray looked awesome and completely cemented himself as a top level star tonight.

I have to say I'm also totally fine with them winning the belts for the same reason as well.

They're still able to work in the ring. They're still amazing on the mic. They are part of the success that was the Attitude era. They are deserving of getting the tag belts one more time. Just don't make it last longer than it should.

As someone who lives in Ohio ... we can be God damned brutal when need be.

I pray we will.

(Remember, they tried to bring out old Cena to placate Cleveland fans before WM last year and they still shit all over him.)

This. Bray does a great job in character.

Someone call Rafa.

Reports are saying Batista flips off live crowd, makes fun of Bryan post-Rumble when cameras went off.

I've loved Bray ever since they brought in his new character. I wasn't sure how far WWE would push him. It appears now he's on his way to be a headliner. And he proved why that's a good decision tonight. Here's hoping we keep getting the goods from Bray.

Maybe so but they have to do something with him very soon or they are going to push the fanbase too far to the point it affects their finances. A lot of people tonight, myself included, were 100% to subscribe to WWE network. As of now I am about 10% to subscribe. I am not going to give a company money who gives zero fucks about entertaining me properly.

I buy one or two PPV's a year and usually split the cost with friends. My net spending on WWE is about 20 bucks a year. I was ready and willing to make that a 120 dollar a year investment. As of now that commitment is now zero dollars. There are a ton of people like me in the same boat and our dollars is what they are banking on for WWE network to work.

Cena is important, I get that. But shoving Randy Orton, Sheamus, Big Show, Batista and HHH down my throat will not get my money. I don't have to like all the guys they push or even most of them but they have pushed no one I give two shots about. They have buried Ziggler, neutered CM Punk, tried to kill Bryan, won't push Cesaro, and they won't even consider talents such as AJ Styles it Austin Aries. They try to tell me what I should and should not like and I am sick of it.

Unfortunately he's just hopped aboard the burial train going in a feud with Cena. Verbal burial begins tomorrow night. I wonder when we will get the 3 on 1 Wyatt Family vs Cena match where he goes over?

If you're Vince and the crowd is chanting "we want divas" I hope you take note. That is about the most offensive thing the crowd could have ever chanted and I think it was well warranted. We are tired of Cena. We are tired of Orton. We are tired of Cena wrestling Orton.

I should have just turned it off after Bryan vs Wyatt. That was an incredible match and the rest of the card didn't even come close to matching that. 4 stars

Lesnar vs Show: complete waste of time. I was REALLY hoping the lights were going to go out while Lesnar was beating down Show with the chairs and when they came back on Lesnar would have been down. They could have done this for a few weeks on Raw and then closer to WM the lights go out, come back on with Brock down and UT is standing above him. But not, instead it was a complete waste of time that didn't do shit for any storylines. .27 stars.

Orton vs Cena for the millionth time. Crowd nailed this one. "BOOOOOOOOORING BOOOORING" "THIS IS AWFUL, THIS IS AWFUL" "WE WANT DIVAS"
-1 stars

The rumble: Roman Reigns is legit. He can move very well for his size and his spear is great. Sheamus coming back was okay, I like his move set but he bores me to death. Punk looked good. They kind of botched the Kane thing though, I could clearly see him hanging around the ring when JBL was going in. Thought it was weird. Batista winning was so predictable. Makes me mad. No Daniel Bryan was an insult to everyone that ordered or attended this PPV. 2 stars.

The Bryan thing being a work would be fine if they didn't tank the Rumble on the way. We got a nice moment in 2004 when C____ B_____ won the title at Wrestlemania. He also got to win the Rumble despite the evil authority figure at the time (Heyman) wanting him to lose.

People are mad about the New Age Outlaws winning the Heath Slater and David Otunga tag-team belts?

LOLOLOOOO

Seriously this one confuses the hell out of me. Somehow one of the most iconic tag teams ever. and way more over with the fans than any other tag team on the roster, winning the titles somehow gets people mad.

I'm okay with the NAO as the champs. They can still go and are still very charismatic. Road Doggs back stage promo was great! "We have a little after party to go to and you're not invited!"

The current breed of WWE fans are sickening. They are entitled and want bland programing force fed to them or ELSE!

Ignoring how over Cody and Goldust were as tag champs? lolololololol Let's all care about the championship Miz won!

Miz was the last great heel champion, so I do care that he won.

Cody and Goldust are two of the best workers in the company, doesn't mean they are supposed to hold down a meaningless belt that pairs them. Goldy doesn't even have a contract, so he is working towards a payoff.

In my opinion, the New Age Outlaws are more interesting than John Cena, The Big Show, and Batista combined.

Especially The Big Show. Holy shit that guy is a bore.

What do you expect? When you are fed shit for so long it starts to taste good. It's why I stopped watching. I realized it just made me miserable. I don't see how anyone can watch 3+ hours of this stuff every week unless they have a ton of self-contempt and are masochistic.

That worries me, I'll admit. But the match itself was star making for Bray. A feud with Cena usually doesn't end up a positive for anyone, but that match proved that Bray can go. People have been saying that Bray is a good character, but bad wrestler and tonight proved all those people wrong. NXT also proved those people wrong, but tonight was a legit WWE MOTYC kind of match. I'm sure Cena will go over the whole family at EC and then Bray at WM, but tonight proved the dude was legit in the ring.
