I was so obsessed with Pokemon as a child that the teacher had to confiscate all my stuff so I'd pay attention in class.

I went to a Christian elementary school and they banned Pokemon from the school because they said the games were promoting the concept of evolution.I was so obsessed with Pokemon as a child that the teacher had to confiscate all my stuff so I'd pay attention in class.

Usual Suspects was a good opening, alright middle and a dumb ending.

First Class isn't too bad and is a lot more faithful comic wise.
X-2 was a great superhero movie but it was still lacking a bigger role from Cyclops who in the comics is the leader. In the movies, they're forcing Wolverine just because he's so popular which is annoying.
Anway there's been certain big members missing for a while. Angel, Gambit, Kitty, etc. Then there's characters who roles have basically been diminished aka Cyclops who it looks like at the moment isn't even in the movie. He's supposed to be very close to Xavier.
First Class isn't too bad and is a lot more faithful comic wise.

Comics are especially hard because there is so much for film makers to draw from that pleasing every comic fan is impossible. Most comic movies aren't literal adaptations of certain runs.I guess it's a lot easier to enjoy these movies if you know nothing about the source. Days of Futures Past is a famous story though so this is carrying all the baggage that that brings.
I never cared about movies being faithful to the source in the extreme. If I want something 100% like the original, I'll read the original.
As long as you get the basics right (costume, origin, villains, etc.) and make a good movie, I'm cool.

First Class was pretty good. A good part of that's probably because I really like Matt Vaughn, and the 60s setting was fun.
