Every game I have seen he either scrambles for his life and gets yards or unleashes the dragon and gets lucky.

Well he has the second highest passer rating for a rookie QB and tied Peyton Manning's record for TD passes by a rookie QB. He's the first QB in the Super Bowl era with a 100+ passer rating in his first two years. He set the record for most passing yards in a playoff game by a rookie QB.
So its not like he's just completely coasting by or anything.
Scientifically there are only two parts of a man that can grow 5 inches after the age of 20.

Ben was way more impressive in his playoff run in his second year. Dude was on fire.
Of course it will be hard for Russell to win and play worse than Ben did in that Superbowl!
All that most casuals (i.e. ESPN) remember is what you did in the Superbowl. One good performance there and you are set.

Was getting ready to dig up all this delicious data. It's amazing all that happened with a beat up offensive line majority of the year along with the #1 and #2 receivers out most of the year as well. While he doesn't always light up the scoreboard, he does a great job of avoiding turnovers. Our other receivers have really stepped up this year given the situation (although I always blame the Golden Domer in Tate when he doesn't make a play).

I definitely think that Wilson looked better in last year's playoff run than this years, but yeah if he wins the Super Bowl no one will really give any fucks.
Seattle sports fans haven't really had a guy to root for in a long ass time. Their highest profile athlete of the last 10 years or so is probably Felix Hernandez and while he's certainly been amazing he just hasn't been the kind of guy who captures people the same way someone like Griffey did.
They probably would've deified Durant had the Sonics not been stolen from them.

As much as I want a snow bowl and love weather games, it's a narrative I'd know I'd get tired of in the offseason no matter what the outcome might be. So yeah, I'm just as glad it looks to be a good weather outdoor game too.

That's a horrible read by RGIII. He had the middle route wide open. Thomas was playing the deep route the entire time.
At least with the Luck read Thomas was way out of position (why TY didn't have anyone within a few feet when he caught the ball)
