The Super Bowl is regularly played in places where the top sport is either bingo or concealing collegiate rape. So, no.

Interesting that the narrative leading up to the game was that the NFL was disappointed in the way Super Bowl week was going, because they're in New York and nobody is going to "own" New York for a week with one piddly event.

But IMO this crowd is worth the hit to the NFL's ego.
