Gameplay wise it's a lot more polished, there are more powers and the Fire / Ice choice was neat. It was stupid that I needed to manually change from Ice Jump to Lightning Chain. Since I need to L1 + R2 to activate it, it didn't make sense. I think I probably wanted a little more platforming (Infamous 1 had more platforming missions). The best probably was wandering around the city, from roof to roof using your powers. You really feel like a super hero, they really nailed that aspect imo.
In Spanish that RFI is called ICR, so I had to google what was the name in English. Thanks Wikipedia lol

when Kuo acts selfishly and decides to stop you from activating the RFI. It completely broke the character they had built during the game and felt weird. There isn't a single moment, a single clue that points she could act that way. I didn't mind Nyx being "good" at the end. She is always driven by revenge, it was logical.

I see that you're a fan of Ratchet and Clank. You have good tastes. Those are the games that I had fun with when I was but a teenager. I even played it in Japanese and had no guides and 100% the first three games. Then after finishing those, the glory that was English PS2 was gifted to me. Glory to region free. ( I meant the PS2 games here but the PS3 ones were good too.)

It was nothing but Call of Duty: Combat in The Sky. But to be fair, the gameplay element they introduce (what was it name I forget) is quite, but the rest of the game outweigh it and one eventually undo it (yuck regenerating plane yuck).

The problem is that many games "running at 30 fps" don't actually maintain that framerate. Dragon's Dogma or Red Dead Redemption constantly dip into the low 20s. It makes the games really hard to get into.

If you really understood the mechanism then you should do the duels really easily.
I'm not joking, if you understand how they work you can easily do a perfect(=no hit, sorry for my obsolete fighting game terms usage lol) most of the times, no skills are involved, just look at the enemy and swipe(a very short one is enough) when it's time, nothing more, nothing less. I'm not super skilled and i didn't train for it.

I understand what you say but that's not the case i was considering, for example reading the announcement of a game running at 30fps i saw many times people saying that that game would be unplayable without even trying it and knowing if it had any framerate drops.

haha. Posted a thread earlier regarding that. Didn't know a mod already made a thread earlier. It was quickly lost in the annals of failed threads. Not to mention my thread title had quite a few errors too.
I wonder how much they'd charge monthly for that. I think I'll stick to SS, Toukiden, GE2 and MH4U for my hunting needs if they charge a lot.

I was talking about 30fps games, not sub-30fps, anyway that was not the core point of my post, it was only an example.
I stoped at "Frontier" but I know that needed a suscription. I don't know why they'd bother localizing that game instead of the Monster Hunter Online game (which looks better and it's F2P, not subscription + microtransactions).

After rebuying Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions (I had this on iPad) and Final Fantasy IX US (I had the German version) I'm tempted to rebuy Final Fantasy II as well, which I already have on my iPhone. I'm such a tool but the d-pad and buttons really make a difference.
I hope Shahid had nothing to do with this trash. I remember him making a "from tiny acorns" comment when this was announced at TGS, implying this is the first step to a true Monster Hunter. In reality, it's a dead end.
TBF if MH Frontier didn't have notorious micro-transactions it is just a Monster Hunter with huge content. As a matter of fact original MH required subscription fee too, at least in Japan. It didn't have much micro transaction fees back then.
