Is the music on Bit Trip Runner 2 Any good?
Having a waifu is fine. If people are going to share their opinions with the world, though, it'd be nice if it wasn't pages full of drivel like "Chie is objectively the best girl" and "That's not how you spell Rise" and shit like that.I don't know where I was going with that... Persona is all about the waifu. It's not like there's too much else to it other than its tarot card undertones and it's Jungian philosophy overtones.
As if Persona is anything but a game to pander to everything the Japanese are portrayed to want. It's because high school is the high point of their life and it coddles the player into easy mode relationships.

Yes, but that makes her really mysterious and interesting character imo. It's saddening how shockingly underrepresented she is.
Are there different difficulty options in Soul Sacrifice?
They're a duology. Innocent Sin comes first, Eternal Punishment comes after.Noticed there are two Personas 2 on sale now .. one is the PSX version known as Persona 2: Eternal Punishment and the other is the PSP version known as Persona 2: Innocent Sin.
Sorry if this has been asked, but what is the difference? Which is the 'definitive' edition? I am keen to buy this and Persona 3: Portable as I enjoyed Persona 4 (even just starting a few minutes).
Vita is saved in Japan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrnlUaPqrLQ
I think it is good lighthearted fun. Know that you can also use the touchpad to aim/cheat.
Angry birds + swords and soldiers.
Right mix of simple and fun for me, bought the dlc too.
Nampad really didn't like it.
I like to think that the people who play that at least have some awareness that that's what's happening during the social links. It's literally impossible to make wrong decisions. You can say whatever stupid shit you want to them and if it's wrong, you just try again tomorrow. It's just as Jim says, the social links in the game are basically just big slot machines where you use time as your tokens, eventually getting to the end of it where their character progressions grind to an absolute halt and then you're done with them.Edit: That video explain things really well. I'll like to discuss about that if you want![]()
Persona 3 and 4 are games whose objective is "feeling" you are the main character. That's why both P3 and P4 MC are kinda "neutral" (design wise, for example, you're "gray" while Chie is green, Yosuke is orange or Yukiko is red). Your character is probably "cool" and "handsome" because people want to be cool and handsome that's sure and you're right.
Still, It's a logical decision. It'd be weird (but funny in some way) that the MC was a socially awkward otaku that doesn't know how to speak with other people at all. I don't want to have "Mmm... / ... / *Run away* " (it'd be funny, though) as options when I'm doing a girl Social Link. That's probably a flaw in most games with decisions + romance. Other is probably simplification.

That said, I hope everybody understand that most people here (at least me) are not seriously about the waifu wars. It's true that I felt more attached to her than the other girls during my playthrough, but in the end it's just a game. It doesn't matter how awesome it is or how much I liked.
Or it makes her shockingly underrepresented =]. She kinda loses her character after she gets her Persona.Yes, but that makes her really mysterious and interesting character imo.
Team4 lyfe.Naoto
It's all in good jest. I would love for someone to actually get offended so everyone could bond together to effectively mock and simultaneously be creeped out by them.Having a waifu is fine. I think I will just get a PSN card and buy:
Shin Megami Tensei: Persona
Persona 2: Eternal Punishment
Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 2: Innocent Sin
Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable
Are these good choices? I really want to play the Persona game on my Vita as I am frequently on the move, so FES is out of the question for me. Already have P4:G and thinking of getting the digital one so I can have everything downloaded digitally.
Just as long as you know what you're getting into with P1/P2.I think I will just get a PSN card and buy:

They're all great games by their own rights, but as others said know what you're getting into with P1&2. Persona 1 especially, in my opinion, has not aged very well at all. If you're expecting them to be anything like 3&4 you'll be disappointed so keep that in mind when going into them.I think I will just get a PSN card and buy:

It's a fun, endless toying with, where nobody will ever win or get their feelings hurt.I will admit to wandering around the shopping center and chillax'n with Rise just cause. P4 does a much better job than P3 with this.
To be honest there's not much to them than the concept that we all wish they existed irl. The Persona 4 cast is pretty vanilla when it comes to personal problems. P3 cast had some crazy shit going on.

My phone is so messed up, had to resort to Wake-Up Club on Vita for an alarm. Didn't realise that thing had trophies though, so time to get some cheap trophies just for getting up for work!
Our interests probably are bounded (to some extent) to our personal tastes in real life. So in the end it's like discussing which stereotype you prefer. Which isn't bad, because P4 archetypes are general, not especially Japanese centric even if their circumstances are Japanese. The most "Japanese-only" archetype is probably Marie, due to her youreastupidyerkdiemotherfucker comments and her tsundere attitude. Outside that? You've probably find that you had friends during your high school that resemble them. Yosuke attitude usually reminds my one of my best friends, for example.
That's why I played P3FES. If you're worried about the combat you could just play it on easy, and enjoy the social links & storyP3P is a good choice, however I didnt really like the graphic novel concept of the main story events (the fact that you control a cursor and not your character).
Indeedlovers always win
enjoy the social links
Tempted for Knack at £32.
Not bad, I'm glad I waited on the Metal Gear Solid collection for Vita. Definitely gonna grab that at the very least.

Fuckkkkkk me. Demoes exist for a reason. I just don't like this game. I just bought a game I don't like. It feels awful. I don't even think it's the framerate. I think it's just the game in general. The character models update like once every half second. That, or there's input lag. And the camera is wayyyyyy too zoomed out. The levels are too big. Goddamnit.
At least it effectively only cost me $5 since I get the +$3 from the PLAY Sale. Or, it only cost $2 if I apply the $6 I'm gonna get from the PLAY Sale to this, on the grounds that I wasn't going to do anything with that money... Yes.
The Play Sale offset the cost of this one game, and I got it on the cheap.
Thanks for the help VitaGAF.
If anyone wants to recommend me a game in the platformer realm to offset the taste, give it a shot. I may own most of them though.
I'm baaaaack!

Welp...
Yes, I was surprised by the comments here about slowdowns and decided to give the demo a try. When you pass through the doors, the game slowdowns a bit. That's the slowdown the game have. Besides that, it plays exactly like the PC game as far as I can tell (except that the PC game don't have controller support for some reason, wtf!?). Finished the demo stages without many problems, there is a learning curve.
GAF hyperbole wins again.
First playthrough it's probably better FES. Once you've seen the cutscenes once (and played Answer) go with Portable.
Still, P3P was my first Persona game and I really liked it. I need to grab it on PSN...
And they put Atelier in sale when I don't have enough money to purchase anything (besides Toukiden). Good job...
That Hotline Miami price though...
Hey guys. I completely skipped the PS3 but am expecting my PS4 to arrive in about a week or so. That comes with a 1 month trial of PS+, right? Assuming I activate it immediately that currently gets me access to Don't Starve, Resogun, and Outlast, right?
Will they be adding a new, free game each month like Vita and ps3? I know the pool of games they can pull from is still quite small.
Other than that Outlast isn't up there right now (will go up with the store update later), that's all correct. PS4 additions are likely to be smaller titles for a while, but they've been pretty damn good so far!Hey guys. I completely skipped the PS3 but am expecting my PS4 to arrive in about a week or so. Good point! Forgot that Don't Starve will be leaving. See if you can get a 1 month trial and activate it quickly if you want to get both that and Outlast.Outlast replaced Don't Starve this month so you'll only get Resogun and that. I think it's safe to assume one free PS4 game each month. The value of PS+ really goes up exponentially if you have invested in the Sony ecosystem.
thanks i needed this kind of commentary , without the hyperbole. Ill give it a try today and then will buy it if its any good.
It's not a visual novel, it's more like a mix of ace attorney with a 999/VLR like setting/story + some minigames.Definitely not for me, then. Thanks guys.
Do they know that in Italian "sola" is a slang way to say "fraud"? lolPlayStation Mobile Update:

I wouldn't call it hyperbole. There is definitely slowdown on some stages. Not all, though. It's not unplayable but it's noticeable enough to be annoying.
There's one in the Lab area that was dipping in the low teens at the start but seemed to smooth out later on. Just running around in the City hub has frame stutter too. I'm not sure what causes it, one level can be completely fine and the next can have sudden slowdown in the middle.
