If we're going to discuss Moe at least make it an action moe series like Pretty Cure or something along those lines, something that could possibly be on Toonami if they cared about a female audience.

There are some scary communities on Gaf (I'm eyeballing you, Popgaf), and the K-on one isn't close to being on that list. It just amuses me that they have been able to make it to 3 threads with no new actual content being created for the franchise.

I still don't know what Pretty Cure is. Also to be clear I don't care what people actually think about the show itself, just don't go around "people watching" other communities and going "what weirdos" please.

When I don't have proper punctuation, it's because I'm either on the iPad or my phone and can't be bothered to go fix mistakes.

To be fair when I clicked though the last page a lot of it was "good morning K-On gaf" then a barrage of gifs representing morning or hello.

I really think K-on talk should stay in the K-on thread, not here. I personally find it annoying, not to bash anyone who likes that stuff that's just my opinion. I don't think there's anything wrong with expressing displeasure for something as long as you don't attack the fanbase.

Just my take.

I just joined the community myself. Just started watching the show for the first time as well. I clicked with that community just on the warm welcomes and friendly atmosphere. The main anime thread in OT community is a flood of posts (some being not so welcoming) so I never really hit a groove there.

Love the thread myself but maybe just because I like smaller groups and it has been nice to talk about the show while I am watching it. Yes we can get a tiny bit crazy but I don't think it's bad at all.

But I should probably stop derailing here. I will leave you all to it! Seeing this thread reminds me that I really need to start watching Space Dandy though.

I agree with this, especially if you talk about enjoying dubs, it's kind of why I prefer discussing dubbed anime here. The audience clearly appreciates dubbed anime and a lot of the shows are shows that would fit well on Toonami

The Intruder was a massive part of my childhood. It was the most commonly-used enemy I'd imagine when playing spaceship or making spaceships out of Lego.

I COULD NOT BE MORE EXCITED BY THIS NEWS. The Intruder was EASILY my favorite part of Toonami itself, bar none. In short:

Aw yes. I vaguely remember seeing the intruder stuff back in the day. It was pretty intense. Can't wait to see what they can do with the concept in 2014.
