It doesnt even need to be a "what handheld to buy". Did you visit the thread where the dude said he already have a 3DS? People kept saying buy a 3DS, or buy more games for your 3DS instead the Vita.
Im 100% sure ive done the right choice buying a Vita. It has been worth every penny. I dont need to discredit any platform to convince myself it was a good purchase. So no reason to start a system war.

I'm actually in the same case, thinking about starting the game in easy mode to hopefully turn the dungeons into cakewalks since they are insanly boring.

2014 Vita sales have been very good so far, but we usually get a lot worse sales than NA.

i think the explanation is that if one "wins," it'll get all the exclusives. That's what it was during the PS2 era.

I'll probably start it after I finish my Killzone: Mercenary platinum (I've just got the alternate contracts left), and after I finish FFXIII-2 (I'm in the last level and the switch labrynth thing annoyed me enough to make me take a break. Seriously, the last game had this and this one has the same thing?). I've thought about just starting it several times, and I did once, but promptly abandoned it because I wanted to commit to finishing the games I was currently playing.
I also preordered Dragon's Crown, and I haven't even touched that yet.

No. I personally hate the game. Don't believe everything you hear. Anime cutscenes were good, but the dungeon crawling was the most tedious and boring thing I've ever encountered in gaming. It's been deleted for a while on my vita.
Try it again on very easy. Watch something to distract yourself while going through dungeons. Just press triangle and keep and listen out for reflected attacks.

Hotline Miami's low price has been staring at me for a long time. It looks like just the arcade game I'd enjoy from a gameplay perspective. But the gore and violence man. I can't stand it when games are explicit about it. It feels bad not playing good games out of principle

Because if the former, so am I, and HM didn't bother me in the slightest. If anything I found it kind of amusing. It's really over the top silly violence, not wannabe-realistic.

I agree that it's easier to deal with. It's just the idea that murdering people, blood dropping like rain and that it's presented in an enjoyable way. What does that make me to play and enjoy the idea behind? I just can't wrap my head around it.
The moment games start becoming explicit, sadistic or the violence is presented as a fun thing to do, then I start feeling bad about playing them.

Called em up, got a refund for Dustforce. Granted, I wasted my one "Goodwill Refund" where they'll do it without any fuss, but hey, I wasn't happy with this game. Then again, I was genuinely unhappy with this game. Instead of farming CS for a free game.
Nah, that's not a good idea. Cause the one time you buy a broken game (like I did), you'll be angry you wasted your token on some other game.
Also, I have good reasons for double posting. Multi-quote on more than one page doesn't work on mobile.

Do you dislike the game that much? I just went over why cheesing the system is bad. Looking at it as a "free game" instead of "getting your money back" is bad business in my opinion. If you ever buy another game like some NIS game and you find out something silly like it's not translated, you'd be much better served getting your money back for that, rather than this.
I don't want to spend too much money, i have to buy Daganronpa!

I bought a Vita on Saturday, I finally decided the OLED screen was more important than an extra hours battery life. Since then I have been enjoying the delights of Persona Golden for the very first time. Marvelled at Uncharted Golden Abyss, pretty impressed by Soul Sacrafice and just started Gravity Rush which is quite unique and interesting. I have had a couple of games of Modnation Racers, nice game just the loading times are a bit sluggish. I still have half a dozen games from PS Plus I haven't even looked at yet! Plus FFVII and FFVIII and Vagrant Story that I had already on my PS3.
With not a lot happening on the PS4 ATM the Vita will get me through just fine. Yes the memory card prices are a joke and the battery life isn't great, but holy smokes this thing is amazing. I bought Persona Golden second hand at EB for $18 the rest were PS Plus freebies, The machine with Plus is simply amazing value.

Well, I'm over 110 hours in and haven't finished it yet and I have the game since launch. It's going to take more than a year at this pace :lol

Iirc, there's a translation of that entries article floating around somewhere. That would be thread worthy but I don't even know if that has been posted already.
That Stick It To The Man sale is what I've been waiting for. But it's not in the US. But it does set the precedent that the developer is willing to go in the $5 territory. And that's good for my wallet.
Terraria, on the other hand... I don't like it on PS3, so I'll wait even longer now.
Congrats. All the games you mentioned are a lot of fun.
As for PS+, it is single handedly the best thing Sony has done all generation. Hyperbole? Sure, why not? But Plus is just excellent value for your money. The fact that it covers PS3/4/Vita makes it superb.
